You really make the Madre come alive with your attention to details. A logical explanation to everything Mona comes across.
I don't think I'll ever forget the first sight of Christine as she struggles out of that autodoc. And the way she recoils from you. Your narrative on their first meeting was one I anticipated eagerly, very curious to your take on it. It was heartwrenching - as it should be And now two extremely dangerous women are on the loose - more or less- in the Madre. They have so much in common. And - to me at least- Christine is pretty much Mona's equal. Elijah has really let the Genie out of the bottle.........

Thank you Bernt. Sometimes I really don't know what to say and still somewhat in shock that folks still read this stuff.

I agree, in many ways the two ladies could be each other's counterpart and do many of the same "jobs". As the saying goes, "everybody hurts". Being able to see and recognize it makes it easier to relate to folks and this time it was someone else's turn.

Whew, I'm glad you're not disappointed with how it turned out. Thanks again!

Mona handled that well. Poor Christine, such a sad figure in the game, but she does have something in common with Mona. Maybe that will strengthen their bond. Enjoyable read. Hates them speakerses.

Thank you. Maybe she could have done better, I'm not sure. It did work out ok in the end.

I'm seriously tempted to install this if/when Mona gets out of that place and make use of it at every opportunity.

I hope to do right by Christine's character, though it may not be fully realized until very far down the road.

Good to know, thank you. I think I liked the one where Ramona is kind of looking "down" at Christine in front of the mannequin.

Thank you Psi! This was one scene I wanted to make sure to get right. Like I was telling Raza, I kinda drew inspiration from a whacko of the silver screen, but I'd like to think I left my own mark on it as well.

For some reason the bald one always ended up trying to kill Foxie and was kinda rude as she never really wanted to answer her questions!

Even when she used "mom, please"

    Great story

Maybe she has the BoS thing not caring for mutants. For some folks prejudice runs rather deep.

Thanks Raza. I secretly enjoyed that part. I drew inspiration from movie scenes like

I'd like to think I put my own spin on it, but I have to give credit where it's due.

An excellent read Brig with plenty of detail and some intense and some tender moments, now that the two of them are a team, watch out Elijah

Thanks Des. Yes, the old man's days are likely numbered even if he doesn't know it yet. I'm glad you liked the details. This was another one where it was tough deciding what was enough but not too much.

Personally I found her annoying to interact with, I think you've done a better job with the character than Obsidian did, she far better in your version.

Thanks Jim. Yes, annoying is a good word for it. Text communication is hard enough for people that know each other. What might have been easy and obvious for the devs may not be so easy for all players.

Communicating with someone like that would involve a lot of gesturing and different facial expressions, many of which weren't in the game, what that leaves us with is text written by someone not good enough to convey the designer's intention.

Dead Money had a very interesting premise, it's a such a shame that it ended up a poorly designed and badly written mess, I remain convinced that Dead Money and Lonesome Road were done by a different team, the quality comes nowhere near that of the base game.

Once again, as the same was with GoD, Mona relates to the other collars in a way that is only possible because of Mona's backstory. DoG with the multiple personalities that Mona is all too familiar with, and Christine with the loss of a lover, something else that Mona is all too familiar with. Quality writing once again, Brig.

Mona is really on edge here though, if Christine had wanted her dead, it would have not been too much of an issue I think, she offered herself up to die. Hopefully the two ladies full of anger can handle anything the Sierra Madre or Elijah throws at them.

In all seriousness, death would be a release for Ramona. Maybe she was hoping to be taken up on her offer. You got it on the nose, it's easier and more worthwhile to demonstrate you understand someone than to force them to understand you.

Thank you. This one was challenging, but fun to write and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it. There were a lot of details in this one that fought to keep from being swept under the rug.

And another outstanding chapter!!!! And very touching moments included. I always felt so rotten leaving Christine behind at the end of the DLC. Another reason I didn't care for it other than feeling pretty claustrophobic. Great writing and pics, Brig!

    btw . . . happy CATURDAY!!!!!

Thanks FBC, happy CATURDAY to you also!

Yeah, of all the DLC's, I thought this one gave the player the least choice and sense of closure unless you chose the Anti NCR ending.

      That picture is pawsitively meownificent.
