A new Fallout Nuka Break fan film called Nuka Break - Red Star has been released and is an absolute must watch for any fans of Fallout 3 or New Vegas. For those who have not seen the original Nuka Break go and watch it here.

    Now someone make a character out of this dude. Especially with the hair and dirt and beard and shit. Then someone give me that save.

    Great work, great production, some great acting from Bill's widow and the shopping-cart peddler - and it's more Fallout so what else is there to say?
     
    This short proves - once again - that Fallout is principally a Western tale.
     
    But the further a Fallout film gets away from fan-service, like that 'bottlecap mine surprise' in the beginning the better it will be IMO.

      I mostly agree, but I think you gotta keep some of the hokey/cheesy/campy situations and ideas. Fallout has a great story potential if done right, of course but the humor element from those "weird" moments are just as much a part of the Fallout Universe as any thing else.

      Oh yeah and as we see, great movie potential as well if it is all done correctly.

      I agree, it wouldn't be Fallout without some of the hokey/cheesy/campy situations. This is one of the reasons why we like Fallout. It is a mixture of old and new, and apocalyptic with elements of hi-tech still operational.I know some people like the full apocalyptic effect but in all of the Fallout games, technology still endures in its current state. And who is the say that it is not continuing in some situations.

      AM I the only one who was disappointed the makers of fallout never put a mutant on a commode so that when you opened the door you would find a very odd and funny surprise?

    just watched the first nuka break for the first time followed by red star and it was awesome !! been playing other stuff for a while but now I just gotta get back to the Mojave .
    totally love what these guys have done with the place and I am really hoping they are able to bring us more .
    p.s. many thanx to gopher for bringing this to our attention . if there were awards for service to the modding community the dude should get like 10 !

    Yeah this red star was really good. Alot better than the first season, even though i think the first season was good, its better to try to go for a serious tone since most of the jokes weren't that great lol

    Amazing films. I have already retired from mojave desert a while ago. But after watching this, i feel like i'm going to wear my riot gear again.

    I love how this message is on the nexus, this will bring in even more people to watch it witch means a higher chance of sequels and a season 2.
