This simple mod adds a new version of the Silver Sword of Gith obtainable via console commands to the Neverwinter Nights 2 OC. This version does not use the script that gives you a custom version based on your class; it is designed solely to be a strong end-game melee weapon for builds that want such a thing, but may be locked into a less useful version of the sword (for example, Eldritch Knights).

There are two versions of the sword in this mod. Both versions have the following stats:

Damage Bonus vs Outsider 1d8
1d8 Magical Damage
Keen

The second version includes a Vorpal (DC 20) enchantment. I included this is a 'side' version because adding vorpal gives the weapon an incongruous black glow that I didn't like. Nevertheless, out of love for the Baldur's Gate II silver sword I had to include a vorpal verison.

The mod requires Mask of the Betrayer to be installed.

Installation:

Navigate to \Campaigns\Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign in your Neverwinter Nights to install directory (so for me this is D:\GOG Galaxy\Games\NWN2 Complete\Campaigns\Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign) and copy and paste the files of your choice into that folder.

Then open a save anywhere in the NWN2 OC and open the console and enable debugmode (the command for this is debugmode 1 - then debugmode 0 to disable it).

Then simple type into the console either:
'giveitem githbasegame'
or
'giveitem githbasegamevorpal'

Close the console and you're done!
