Katrina's Guide is a comprehensive tutorial and advanced users guide to building modules with the Neverwinter Nights 2 Toolset. It will help you to become proficient in creating single-player, NWN2 modules. It assumes no prior knowledge of the Toolset and guides the reader through creating a small, but representative 3-area module. It discusses the basics like creating internal and external areas, creating new creatures, placeables and items, writing conversations, and setting up lights, stores, groups and encounters. But it goes beyond the basics and delves into the scripting system in detail, showing how to use the Action Queue and events, how to override default scripts to resurrect Players and NPCs, and how to use the Faction system for both good and evil players, among many other things. Non-programmers will find much of use within, but scripts are presented and discussed throughout.
