I'm sorry to bother you, but could you create similar mods (or tell/teach me how to do it) for faster unlocking & disarming traps? Your 'Faster Rest' is wonderful, but now the others seem so slow. Thanks again for a great mod!
this would be a nice extension; i looked myself but couldn't even locate the restduration file. Although search sent me to http://ccg.animecafe.net/index.php?title=2DA where at least all the engine 2da are listed; in the 2da.bif in our nwn data file it looks all the variables for 2da are listed (though unnnamed) and only one can be found with this structure, so i think there may be only this one, since it is intented to change when you gain levels, what the disarm & openlock doesn't. Maybe someone else is smarter than me and/or finds a solution
As for the open lock / disarm trap timer, I could not find it in the resource files. It might have been hardcoded, making this task non-trivial (not for me anyway). Sorry!
cool - even if you don't play a casting class this is a relief (you remember accidentially hit the r key during a conversation and have to wait... very long with a highlevel character) - thanks, very helpful.
yes it's often the small things that make a game great -
i wanted to add i had it with my pcgames version (oc+xp1+xp2) + 1.69 patch; yesterday i reinstalled just the oc + 1.68 to play older modules and it didn't work, what could be solved when i erased the levels 21 and above - just in case somebody plays a real old version.
Now i am surprised how easy modding can be; well, you have to know how- and: you have to see it. The NWN2 furnished us with just that resting time and even then it took years until finally someone realized it in NWN1, so thanks for having eagle eyes.
[edit] p.s. maybe you want to upload that feature at neverwintervault.org and make also the community happy
