About this mod
Unlimited ability points (at character creation).
No item degradation. Mostly.

You can. With the power of cheating.
There are two parts in this mod. Two files, to be exact.
gamevars.xml - gives you 150 ability points (instead of 15).
itemtypes.xml - removes degradation from most of the items in game. Foods, corpses should still degrade. One-use items should still degrade 100% per use.
INSTALLATION

Modding is shit for this game, I'm sorry to say.
I tried to do it the proper way and it seemed to work. Then I took it a step further and it blew up into my face so fuck it. And now I have no idea if it did what it was intended to do OR did what it was intended to do and fucked up some shit silently.
So, installation... Right...
Just use the files to overwrite the game data in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NEO Scavenger\data" or wherever your game is installed.
Obviously an integrity check or game update will overwrite the "mod" and it will (maybe) become outdated (in case of an update). But the mod is created for v.1.15 (an it looks like there were no updates for the game since 2017, so I don't think it's a high probability.
COMPATIBILITY
Any other proper mod will overwrite the "mod" installed this way. Or break it.
They say it corrupts NeoScav extended.
USE IT ON YOUR OWN RISK
a) It was not extensively tested. Looks like it works. But who knows - maybe it will lead to too much stuff lying around and performance problems or mega-equipped dudes everywhere, or something.
b) Using cheats might ruin your fun OR intended game progression.
