It is integrated by default already in the Steam and GOG versions, as per the devs on the German forum. Unfortunately this information isn't written in the official changelog.
Mod works and does what it should. But there is a problem I encountered in the story: Some npc's stopped talking and there were only the fast skipping textboxes. After I deactivated the mod, they talked again. That happened to me in Anku
