INSTALLATION (OLD)
Just move the user.cfg file to the root folder of the game
(like D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Need for Speed) [STEAM]
DONE!
INSTALLATION (V2)
Just move the files from the archive to the root folder of the game
(like D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Need for Speed) [STEAM]
go to the game properties on steam
And put this command -windowed -noborder -height 1080 -width 1920 in launching options
(Height and width depends on your screen resolution)
If your game is not from steam, just go to the following steps:
1. Right-click the shortcut to the game on your desktop and select Properties.
2. Go to the Shortcut tab, then locate the Target field, which lists the exact location of the file within quotation marks.
3. In the Target text box, place the cursor after the last quotation mark, then add a blank space followed by the command line parameters and put this command -windowed -noborder -height 1080 -width 1920
(Height and width depends on your screen resolution)
4. Select Apply, then select OK.
(when you start playing, at first it starts to stutter/freeze, but after a while the stutters will almost disappear. The game freezes due to the fact that shader compilation is taking place.)
