If you're still wondering, I downloaded and installed this mod and it does work but be aware that 1) it doesn't seem to support controllers - you'll need to click the Dee-Dee stop with your mouse to get the travel prompt, and 2) the bugginess you see described in some of the earlier posts here doesn't seem to have been 100% resolved. Since installing this sometimes I randomly get warped to the wrong Dee-Dee stop, even when I'm traveling the normal way from one stop to another.
I really have no clue how to troubleshoot this "bug"... and i honestly have no clue if its because of this mod (or another one)
But about 30-40% of the time, whenever i teleport, it randomly puts me at any other Deedee stop... like... im in the desert, click the city one, and end up at the falls completely opposite to where i wanted to go... i try again, and this time end up at mine#2 deedee stop... it really seems random but this has been hapening for a few days (about the time since i installed this mod) so im unsure if its related or not...
I did try to zoom in, move it, everything... somehow when i just started playing the bug was not there, but after a while (or a few days of play in a row) it would warp all over the place...
I just grabbed the latest version and will be trying it fully in about 12h when my wife gets home and we play again :) I will let you know for sure! Thanks again!
What I think is happening is when the dialogue opens, if you move the mouse over a deedee spot behind the dialogue, it changes which spot it will go to.
this is pretty easy to try/troubleshoot... i'll start the game in sec and report back (editing this post) (but i honestly doubt its the case) the reason being that the time required is also wrong/broken... like, i open the map, click on the spot right next to me, it indicates 1h... or, another time, i opened the map from an actual dee dee spot, clicked the waterfall one which was at the other opposite side, and it wrote 1min as the time required... and i tried that particular one a few times before it put me next to the harbor instead :P
Edit: latest version still has the bug... and as i thought your hypothesis isnt right... i simply loaded my game (continue from the next day), then went out, and immediately started warping all around... the first 5 or 6 warps worked properly... i even went out of my way to move the mouse all over going over other icons before clicking confirm... then at one point, i was at the waterfall one, tried going to the ruins#2, ended up in the desert (which wasnt even visible from the map)... -- edit 2 : yeah... the time required is a good indicator of "where" it will send you... so as soon as you click on the map icon (even by using the actual ddstop) its wrong-warp all over the place... --- i just alt+f4 and started again, i did 8 warp (starting from inside the house) and all worked... then AS SOON as i warped to the waterfall it broke everything... I also noticed the tooltip (when you mouseover) stopped showing up for the stops after going to the waterfall once.. -- restarting again, went to portia falls stop first, then another one, then tooltips are gone and everything broke...
Edit 3 : sorry for the super mega long post! :) but i've been trying to isolate any reason WHY its happening... i can confirm that the tooltip dissapearing is NOT 100% related to the wrong-warp... because when using the actual dee-dee stop, the tooltip would show up 100% of the time, yet i would still get wrong warp... and when using M to open the map, after a bit, the tooltip were gone, but warp would work about 30-40% of the time... ALSO, i thought it was related to the portia falls, and its not... it happened after 4 warps from my house going only to town, tree farm and down to the harbor... so basically i have nothing! :) let me know if i can help and troubleshoot/test some more!
sadly... same issue... although i did not see the tooltip dissapearing this time... i did about 15 warps total.. and 5 of them were wrong... but i would know immediately because the time required was really off.. like you know from one side of the map to the other is about 1h... so if its 2 stops next to each other it should be between 10-25... and it shows 49... then you know you're gonna end up far
EDIT : on the good side, whatever you did really improved things! i tried again but this time actually using the deedee stop instead of opening the map with M... and i was able to do a full day of warping around without a single wrong-warp!! (before simply having your mod installed would break even the regular one)... but as soon as i started doing a few warps with the M key, after 2 or 3 i got a wrong warp...
The good one is that it WORKS! there was no longer a single wrong-warp! Even using the M key to open the map, I spent a full day warping from every warp points and not a single one bugged out!
The bad news, is that it no longer works from indoor... i tried from the player home as well as the museum and the deedee icons no longer appear when showing the map from indoor
(personally i'd leave it like this because the bugs were making the mod really unreliable)... and i have the Teleport mod if i really need to warp outside someplace because im stuck or something...
Thanks for all your hard work in making this game better!
Hello thx for this mod, i have some problem, the "need to restart icon" in the Unity window in the game is always red, what should i do ? i ve made some screenshothttps://ibb.co/9h1qVqf
I first saw this and thought it meant you could take the Dee-Dee anywhere. But I'm guessing that's not the case and you have to have the stops placed down to be able to access them first. Am I right?
That is, when you click the Dee Dee station sign, it will be transferred to another station sign. You need to click more times to transfer to the right position
Oh, I see, what it's doing is when you click on Confirm, it is registering a Dee-Dee spot behind the confirm dialogue, changing the destination. I think I have stopped that from happening, uploading now.

also, not sure if its relevant or not, but im sticking with unity mod manager version 21.6.0 since the latest one broke one or two mods i was using...
