This mod allows you to build furniture without going to the workshop. There's two versions, one creates a custom blueprint called "Workbench" that will act like the workshop door if interacted with, while the other uses the pre-existing desk blueprint to do the same.
This mod is for those who are tired of running back and forth to the workshop. I recommend building the smallest workbench/desk possible and leaving it unpainted, this allows you to place it and remove it from a sim's house without losing friendship. Small note: using the workbench/desk will teleport you near the house entrance when you exit the workshop.
The instructions are included with the files.

24/08/01: Added a version where instead of a custom blueprint/furniture type you use the regular desk. This version is easier to install since you don't have to manually edit the list of blueprints, you just need to put the xml file in SimsRevData/GameData/ObjectDefs (replace the original TemplateDeskDef) and the lua files in SimsRevData/GameData/Lua. Instructions included with the files.
