Updated to M&B 2.036

Hey, I hope your Day or night is going well!

...................................................................
updated version 4.0

New! Can now select:
"Very Short" or "Very Tall"
in addition to the normal starting highs!
Also a new check box in the start menu to enable a new "Disarm" feature, it effects player and bots!

.....................................................................

... Some of the Current Changes ...

a very tall option in character creation(the height of the troll)

a very short option in character creation(the height of a child)

stats changed slightly for character creation

Once the weapon drop option is checked on in the options menu shown during character creation,
you and bots can get disarmed by strong hits to the forearms and hands!
Now secondary weapons are nice to have!
However having more strength and a higher weapon skill will increase the amount of damage bots need to inflict on you to disarm you.

Bots can rearm from weapons that were dropped( or sticks)
after a while of being disarmed, without being in combat.

Less damage to flinch.

If your foe is swinging a Large Dane Axe down at you, don't expect a pin prick to stop his weapon in middle of the swing.

A highter damage for weapon speed = slightly more damage than vanilla Viking Conquest

Animations for two handed Axes have been changed, so your hands are wider spread apart for most Animations.

Without shields, swords and axes have a two handed parry and attack animations now.

Cutting damage is adsorbed by armor much more now, and is better against lighly armored foes.

Swords do much more damage now, and if your swing lines up with an exposed(helmet-less) head or hands, expect a lot of damage.

Most quest items can't be improved beyond plain, to make up for being easier to get than high quality items.

Hunting knives, followed by seax's, are the fastest weapons.

All axes bypass a small amount of damage resistance now with their their cutting damage.

Expect a bit more random low level weapons for low level troops like Farmers, Skirmishers, Serfs , and Archers.

Expect Dane axes in the hands of elite norse troops.

Throwing axes have been added and are very common equipment on troops.

Many lords items have been added to the merchant lists, but are still very rare.

You get an attribute point around three levels, instead of every five levels.

A wider gap between heavy and medium armor.

shields have a smaller block area but are still very useful... unless you take an arrow to the lower leg.

::: Install :::

...............................................................................................

decide in download either the vanilla or re-tempered version
(while I prefer re-tempered; I give you the decision between that, or base game balance for items and Bot's )

go to your Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules

rename your "Viking Conquest" to "Viking Conquest Re-tempered"

download the mod file
unzip the file to a place of your preference
take the files overwrite the files in your "Viking Conquest Re-tempered" folder

Also, you will probably have to start a new Character save also, maybe not if you are updating.
(might semi- work with vanilla saves, but I don't recommend it!)
Done!

::: Known bugs :::

...............................................................................................

When the throwing axes are in the air, they are weird looking.

One of the idle stances for the Dane Axe looks a little unnatural.

Error codes that popup on disarm, you don't have to worry about them.
will likely be fixed soon-ish

I don't get as many error reports anymore, and if you do they are harmless...
Unless you crash...
...or are unrelated to this mod.
That only happens for me when I set the battle size too high.
which for me is 300+ Npc's in a battle.
