This mod aims for the people that wants to do little bit management after all the killing and pillaging. You can buy businesses (woodworker, mill, church, iron mine, stable) in villages. You can establish smithy or warhorse stables. Basic businesses manufacture raw materials for your artisan businesses. You can hire business chief and wagon masters to automate processes. You can hire workers to use them in smithy and warhorse stables.

  • Every village has 3-4 business slots that you can fill with basic businesses.
  • 5 different basic business. (woodworker,mill,church,iron mine,stable)
  • Church increases your relationship with notables of the villages while other businesses manufacture goods.
  • Every business needs investment to operate daily.
  • You can hire business chief to automate investments for your businesses or you can order your chief to sell the manufactured products at fixed prices.
  • You can buy 8-10 warehouses that you need for your products. If you don't have necessary warehouse, your business wont operate or the output will be lost. You also need warehouses to transfer goods from one village to another.
  • You can hire wagon master to create caravans between interlinked villages.
  • You can open smithy or warhorse stable.
  • You can manufacture charcoal, iron ingot, steel ingot and fine steel ingot in the smithy.
  • You can manufacture warhorse, thamaskene steel, horse barding and imperial horse (special item) in the warhorse stable.
  • Artisan businesses need workers to accomplish production. Each business can have 4 different workers.
  • Each worker has its own experience. Workers require daily salary and their salary changes with the work they are doing. If you don't pay a worker's salary three times, the worker will leave your business.
  • Different productions require different level workers so keeping your experienced worker is essential.
  • Every production chain in the artisan businesses require one or more inputs.
  • You can product raw materials at different villages, bring them to interlinked village and do higher level production with those raw materials.
  • You can hire artisan chief to automate investment and worker salary payment. Also you can order your artisan chief to sell manufactured goods.
  • If your average relation with the notables of the village is lower than -5, they destroy your businesses in the village.
  • Every successful basic production rewards you with "Steward" experience (scaled with focus).
  • Every successful artisan production rewards you with "Crafting" and "Steward" experience (scaled with focus)
  • Every successful transportation of goods between villages rewards you with "Trading" experience (scaled with focus)

All the productions, good transfers and money trading work in isolation from the native business aspects. So you wont break the game's native economy unless you pour the market with your production, selling them manually to the villages and town. You can use business chiefs to sell products at fixed prices to prevent this on the long run.

Changelog:

1.0.4:
  • The artisan chief was not taking gold from your pouch whilst automatically investing. This will fix it.
  • Wagon master was not working properly whilst transferring warhorse stable products. Fixed.
  • Couple interface problems fixed.
  • Added language support . You can change the content of the lang.xml file under the KervansarayData folder. I put couple examples on how to create sentences with your own language. Not the easiest way to prepare a language translation file.

Plans:
  • I could not get the saveid from the OnBeforeSaveEvent. If i can, i will create the save files in binary format under the kervansaraydata folder with attached saveid variable to be able to make your saves non module dependant. Helps appreciated.
