About this mod

Allows your companions to form relationships and marry (with your blessing).

Permissions and credits
This is my next attempt to make the world of the game more alive and natural.

How it works?

Over time, some of the characters in your party will build relationships. It depends on the characters and will be sped up by battles.
At a certain point, they will ask for your blessing to get married.
If it's a member of your family married a companion, the companion marries into your family and becomes a part of it.
If two wanderers marry, they stay wanderers and their children will become wanderers too (hireable in taverns).
Should be compatible with total conversions (I mostly tested it with the Realms of Thrones) and work if turned on mid-game. I think your game should survive turning if off mid-game too (but I can't guarantee that, and there will definitely be left-overs).

How to install.
Download, put the folder inside the archive where the Bannerlord modules are.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\TheyMarried - in my case.

Configuration.
Find and edit the config file in the mod folder.
In my case, it's "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\Promoted\config.txt"
MarriageThreshold=360 - "time" it takes to want to marry; without battles, the companions that barely fit (but still do fit) will take this amount of days to want to marry.
DebugLogging=false - turn on some debug logging.
ForcePregnancyDaily=false - debug option to force pregnancies.
ExpeditePregnancy=false - debug option to make pregnancy go really fast.
ExpediteGrowingUp=false - debug option to make children grow up really fast.
DebugAutoAcceptMarriage=false - debug option to auto-accept the marriage proposals (I think it requires DebugLogging true too).
ClanChangeAtWill=false - add the dialogue option to send your companion to a clan of your choosing (in the kingdom).

DISCLAIMER
It's not like I know what I'm doing, I was just fooling around and that's what happened.
Back up your saves. Cycle them.
It took several weeks of tears, anger and despair for me to finish this mod. While it works, forbidden spells are being cast and goats - sacrificed.
I tested it as well as I could. Fixed a lot of crashes. Some of those crashes were not immediate - you could save your game and get a crash later, and neither uninstalling the mod, not fixing it would help. So I mean it when I say - backup and cycle your save games. I might have missed something.
And come back to tell the others if you encounter problems, or it works well, and there is nothing to worry about.

Sending companion to other clans.
There is a functionality to detect if a companion's spouse is in another clan and send them to join that clan. Could not test it, but it should work. If it doesn't - please report. As a workaround, you can enable sending companions to other clans in general (ClanChangeAtWill=true in the config) and send them this way.
In any case, the functionality is not super well tested, so make a new save after using it - just in case.

Created and tested with game version v1.2.12.66233

Versions
v1.0.0 - initial release.
v1.0.1 - added a check after rejecting a marriage - permanently or temporarily.
v1.0.2 - improved handling of wanderers that marry into player's family - their children should not be managed by the mod (should become player's family normally).
v1.0.3 - Added a dialogue option to send a companion to the clan of their spouse. Not an extremely well tested option, so take precautions.

My mods
Better Than Human (both perks. attributes. focus) - for pure power fantasy
Promoted (from troops to companion) - for "natural" way to get companions
They Married (Your Companions) - allows your companions to get married
Renamer - a silly mod to rename characters via dialogue
Cry In The Night - a random encounter
ReCulture - a silly mod to change culture for characters via dialogue and settlements via menu
Send Companion To Another Clan - send your companions to be lords in other clans of your kingdom via dialogue
Call Of Iron - a quest
Necromancer - necromancy skill
