About this mod

This mod allows you to call for conscripts in your castles resulting in new units added to the garrison at the cost of loyalty. Can be customized, and allows for translation!

Information
This mod adds a new menu option when visiting castles owned by you. The new menu option provides the opportunity to call in conscripts from your domain, which means new units will be added to the castles garrison. The units added are militia units based on the culture of the castle itself. As this is obviously giving you an advantage over the AI by getting free units, the AI will be able to do the same! This mod will hopefully help add a bit of realism into the game with forced conscription, and ontop of that lower the amount of grind involved with gathering new units to add to a garrison just to have them die of starvation..

The newly added units can be withdrawn afterwards from the garrison, and that's why they're of a low tier.

Rules for the player and AI
There's a few limitations put in place to prevent it from getting out of hand, and they differ a bit for the player and AI. (These can be changed, check out the configuration section further down the post!)

Shared
  • Max amount of melee units: 18
  • Max amount of ranged units: 12
  • Minimum loyalty before being able to do it: 33%
  • Will lose between: 8-25% loyalty for each forced conscription
  • Only the owner of the castle can do it

Player
  • Can only call in conscripts 2 times per day

AI
  • Can only call in conscripts 1 time per day
  • Needs at least 10% food storage to consider forcing conscription
  • Uses current castle loyalty as a percentage to determine whether or not to do it

Each day the list keeping track of conscriptions will reset, thus allowing both the player and the AI to once again force conscriptions.
The amount of units to spawn of both the melee and ranged are calculated using the max constant divided by the percentage of loyalty the castle has. Doing this twice a day quickly depletes the loyalty below the minimum loyalty required which then disabled the option. 

Example of a calculation
The player enters his castle with 90% loyalty left.
Running a call for conscription once results in:

Melee units to add: 18 / (100 / 90) = ~16
Ranged units to add: 12 / (100 / 90) = ~10
The loyalty will then decrease with a random value between 8-25%, leaving the castle with somewhere in the 70-75% range afterwards.

Installation
Simple drag and drop to install the mod.
Go to your Bannerlord installations folder 
...\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules
and drop the 'Conscripts' folder.
Remember to enable the mod when launching the game, enjoy!

Configuration
Open the Settings.xml file to alter some of the values used throughout the mod. It's possibly to change amount of units you receive, whether to reset daily or weekly among other things. If the Settings.xml file gets deleted by any chance, the mod will use the default defined values within the code itself. Download the mod once more to get the Settings.xml file back again.

Localization
Comes with standard english and danish translations. You can open the language folder and follow the readme.txt to add your own translations if you want to.
