About this mod

This mod Increases the Caravan Party Limit allowing caravans to fare much better against bandits again. You can choose to base this on Clan Tier Rank. You can choose whether this applies to all caravans or only player owned caravans. There is also an option to specify a custom limit to suit your own preferences should you feel the need.

Update 1.4.0

 - Added the option to use clan tier based party sizes instead to match the same behaviour as what was before the development team changed them, with the addition of being able to specify how many party slots each tier rank adds. For caravans owned by notables, their power level is used instead. The base party size is 30 and then the clan tier bonus is added on top.

NOTE: This new functionality is optional and you can still override the party limit with a custom limit of your choosing using the options file. The clan tier based options are also available and instructions are in the readme.

Update 1.3.0

 - Added option to in the Options file to specify whether the user wants the new limit to apply to all caravans, or only player caravans. See readme for more information.

 - Added option to tweak the max party limit setting, the default is set to 50, if a value given is not between 0 and 100000 then it will revert to the default value. Please see below for instructions.

Modify the attribute called 'caravanPartyLimit' in the 'Options' file found inside the 'Modules\CaravanPartyLimitIncreased\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client' directory.

NOTE: This mod was built and tested on build e1.1.1, if you are playing with this on the beta branch then you might experience some undefined behaviour, I'll be actively attempting to keep up with the developers and patch this mod to keep it compatible and working.

Hi everyone,

This mod Increases the Caravan Party Limit for all caravans to 50 meaning that caravans are somewhat able to hold their own again.

With the nerfing of Caravan's recently, it's meant that they aren't quite as good of an investment anymore, I'm all for adding realism and I agree that the caravans we're too safe before, however, I'm hoping that Taleworlds have tested the profitability with the new settings to prove that they are still profitable, otherwise there wouldn't be much point in using them anymore.

In the meantime, I hope this mod balances things a little for some of the players who really enjoyed using Caravans.

Feel free to let me know if this is balanced for you in the game, I may tweak the settings of this mod to achieve a better balancing if required. 50 men seemed about reasonable as most bandit groups (that I've seen so far) seem to cap out in the mid 30s and so your caravan's should be picked off a lot less, but will still run into trouble on occasion.

Note: The caravans will still start off with 30 men so it may be a good idea in some situations to accompany them for a while until they build up some more strength.
