In the year 129 After Conquest, Westeros finds itself at a pivotal moment as the Iron Throne teeters on the edge of uncertainty. King Viserys I Targaryen's failing health foreshadows a realm fraught with tension upon his passing. His daughter, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, stands as his named heir, setting the stage for a clash of claims with her half-brother, Aegon II Targaryen.
Though King Viserys never explicitly designated Aegon II as his successor, tradition leans toward the eldest male Targaryen inheriting the throne.
