Currently the is a bug that makes soldiers behavior weird (they stand and crouch unpredictably).
I can't fix that bug at the moment.
I have added a config file to set button

Well, I thought making the infantry crouch would not block the archers ability to shoot, but its still does.
If anyone have an idea how to solve it , can reach me in the comments or discord (.vukh) .
anyway until i figure it out, here is a version that makes soldiers crouch , select the formation and press F10.
My vision of the mod is that formations that include both infantry and archers, the infantry would alternate crouching and standing ,between each of the archers shot.
