  • Loot Overhaul B1.2.0 Changelog

TL;DR: This update improves coexistance and compatibility between ModLib dependant mods. As far as i know, this mod is incompatible with any MBOptionsScreen using mod.

I further improved the loot loop performance, i think i can't optimize it beyond this point, who knows. Further improved messaging system and a quick debug option in the main menu, to see the actual loaded values for the mod, it helps me compare those values against the ones being shown in the mod options menu. Some minor fixes were made, too.

Ah! And more options for you to play with ;)

  • Loot Overhaul A1.2.0 Changelog

TL;DR: This update approaches some of the bugs reported by users in the bug section (Thanks y'all!), all of them were relatively minor fixes. I also changed the Default option values to the ones i felt better after some small and large battles.
Defined debug message disabled by default now, as the debug system was further improved a little bit, and in cheesy configurations it will cause a massive spam in the chat.

    GENERAL
    Preventive investigation:
Bannerlord 1.2.0 beta branch now implements a new item value system, adding moddifiers that affects the price to them.
I just made sure my mod still works in both branches. The loot rewarded by the mod logics will have no modifiers at all, so you'll get the default item wit...

  • Loot Overhaul A1.1.0 Changelog

    LOOT OVERHAUL A1.1.0 CHANGELOG
Thank you all for using Loot Overhaul, in this version i tried to adress the loot balance a bit, adding more checks and options regarding how often, and how much you loot.

Additionally, i've implemented ModLib as a dependency mod in order to be able to create a graphical mod options menu, making this mod users life a bit easier.
Now the options are accesible within the very game, without the need to edit these awful xml files. The new settings system itself has improved, validating all the settings on the fly.

What i did not was (again, and as intended) modify looted items prices in any way. I hope and expect to fully address all the economic balance issues of the mod by tweaking its own behaviour, and not to rely on other...

  • Balancing Issues 1: Starting to address them from the brain.

It's innegable, as per Loot Overhaul e1.1.0, the balance issues it causes are too much for his configuration system to be able to try and manage those issues.

It feels necessary for me to express some ideas about those problems and how i think i'm going to address them.

    What are the issues?
    World Economics Balance Issues
First, this mod does not replace the default loot you were gonna get at the end of the battle. What it does is to ADD a chance of being rewarded with more loot at the end, if you win.

    How does it do that?
Lets say we have a fixed value of 0.50 (%=%) in dropchancerate setting.
We are battling the enemy, and eventually a soldier gets Killed/captured. When that happens, we iterate all of his gear, piece to piece, a...
