THE MOD WILL TEPORARILY WORK UNDER DEFAULT SETTINGS
I got tired of breaking game updates and some mods are neither helping with their own updates.
I'll migrate to another config system by the end of this week.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

FIRST THINGS FIRST
I was heavily inspired by the work of Soupor in LootLord and LootEveryone, both published by zombienerfguy when i firstly started.

ABOUT LOOT OVERHAUL
Loot Overhaul is a Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord mod that improves some in-game loot mechanics, as making lords drop their gear when executed or being able to configure the gear dropped by soldiers in battle. It also allows you to loot dead allies, too!

FEATURES
  • Lords will drop their actual gear on execution! Or not, you decide!
  • Soldiers have an extra chance to yield some of their gear pieces when killed. You can even decide to loot them cowards before they flee!
  • Configurable extra-chances. Keep them low for a better balanced experience!
  • Loot allies gear when killed, again, if you want.

HOW DOES THE EXTRA CHANCE WORK?
When an Agent (i.e. a soldier) gets killed in battle, this mod will grant a 2-5%(by default, so 3.5% on average) chance to loot that soldier, then if you succedeed, you have a chance (5%-15% by default, 10% average) to loot one of his equipped items, whether you succed or not, this action will randomly loop the soldier equipment until it has no more avaible slots, or you have looted the MaxItemsPerUnit value number of items of that soldier.

Max Items Per Unit can be changed in the mod options menu. Also, you can change wether you like or not to apply that Max Items Per Unit value to the loot you get when you execute a lord. If you keep that ApplyItemPerUnitToLords option disabled, you will loot all the executed lord gear!

You can also activate an option to loot your own allies when they die, but it's disabled by default in order to prevent some cheesy economy tricks. Same goes for fleeing soldiers.

If you want a balanced experience while not losing the chance to get fat lootz, please keep Loot Allies and Loot Panicked disabled, also keep the drop rate chances as low as possible!

WHY IS THE LOOT ALLIES/LOOT PANICKED OPTION DISABLED BY DEFAULT?
Being able to have a chance to loot your dead allies loot sounds great on paper, and it actually is.
But it allows to some cheesy money making tactics, like going to a battle against 4 looters with the sole purpose of headshotting your own elite cataphracts/Fian Champions, etc. as chances are they would drop those juicy Imperial Lamellar or Noble Longbows, per say.

Then you can go sell those items to a city for big profits.
Hell, even killing your own tiered 2 recruit may give you some pieces wich value oscilates between 500 and 2000 denars. And you can achieve that without even killing a frikin' looter.

I think that somehows breaks the economy, but it is realistic? I mean... will killing Joe the Trained Imperial Infantry yield more stonks than defeating that 6 looter party over there? Well, in real life it may be is.

So i give you the option to config the option and enabling that in the config.

HOW TO CONFIG?
The only thing you need to do is going to Mod Options > Loot Overhaul from the Main Menu!

COMPATIBILITIES INFO
IS SAVED GAME COMPATIBLE?
YES

Incompatible with some MBOptionsScreen addons.

This mod uses Harmony to patch the logics of PartyScreenLogic.ExecuteTroop and Mission.OnAgentRemoved where items would be added to the PlayerMapEvent.ItemRosterForPlayerLootShare.

FUTURE FEATURES
  • Implement the improved batle loot mechanics to the auto-resolved "Send Troops" battle.
  • Strip lords clothes without the need to execute them, as suggested by chomneko.
  • Have the option to replace default battle loot table, or adding the new loot to it, as suggested by TheAxFairy
  • Loot limitation per Winning side relative strength. The stronger you are (compared to an enemy party/army), the more loot you can get,
    as suggested by TheAxFairy
  • Scale loot to party size, too (without taking into account relative strenght), as suggested by vatansever268
  • Inherit you dead wife/husband gear, as suggested by kallum
  • Relation system related to looting execute lords and the such, as suggested by MetalApache
