They should update it to up to at least 2000 even in Vanilla game, cause some people with actual BEAST PC's can probably play it already with those numbers without cooking their PC's or breaking the game. Assuming u have at least like 3080ti or 3090 etc lol.
Needs update. I was using version 1.0 with no problems up until 1.5.3. As of 1.5.4 the mod only sorta works. Updated and tried older versions. If I set it to from 1001-2048 I get 1024 troops on the field in campaign. In custom battle things get stranger. Tested with battlesize unlocker 1.2 only so I don't now if it applies to the older versions too. Regardless I set the battle size to 2000 and put 1000 infantry a side. When the battle loads up only 500 a side had spawned. When troops started dying the remaining 500 for each side will start to spawn as reinforcements. Hope that helps. As a side note, I noticed that when the game crashes because of going over the 2048 entity limit, I get a dump that mentions something like "spawnwithhorse". Figure in those big battle the games was crashing because of the reinforcements spawning in; ex. you have 400 cav 224inf Vs 400 cav 224 inf (800 cav = 1600 entities + 448 = 2048) with reinforcements for both sides. Say 10 Cav get killed (just the riders) then the game would spawn 10 replacements. If they were Inf that's all fine but if cav spawn it will crash the game because the 10 cav spawning in adds 20 entities while the ten riderless horses remaining on the map push it to 2058. Just brainstorming here, I was wondering if a stable 2048 troop battle could be achieved by getting the game to check before it chooses which troops spawn in so Inf spawn, unless there's no Inf so it will wait until 2 riders die before spawning 1 cav. Don't know if it's doable, just a thought. I enjoy the mod a lot, have had a riot with it so far, thanks for making.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR USE THIS MOD! IT PERMANENTLY BREAKS BANNERLORD!
Downloaded and enabled this mod, and Bannerlord crashed on load. Cannot even get to the menu screen. Was working perfectly before adding this mod.
Disabled the mod: still crashes on load. Deleted the mod files: still crashes on load. Disabled all other mods: still crashes on load. Verified game files: still crashes on load. Uninstalled and reinstalled Bannerlord: still crashes on load.
This mod clearly did something to my computer that has broken Bannerlord for good. STAY FAR AWAY FROM IT if you ever want to play Bannerlord again. Since uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work, whatever it did must be somewhere on my computer outside of the game files. I'll be checking my bank accounts and changing all my passwords in case it's some kind of trojan.
Is your game still not working? I never got this mod to work but I've been getting 'dangerous file' alerts when downloading some other mods so reading this makes me worry. The Virus Scan thing on here says it's safe though idk how reliable that is.
Whatever happened to your computer was not caused by installing this mod.
When you uninstalled did you also delete the config files in :/Users/'yourusername'/Documents/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord/Config before reinstalling? I have this mod installed as a test and the game loads up without issue.
Whilst I can appreciate your frustration, blindly claiming that mods contain a virus, or "have done something to your computer" is not helpful and is also somewhat disrepectful to the mod makers who put in their own time making these mods for free.
Also a lot of anti-virus software will register false positives on files that contain things such as .dll files which alter the behaviour of applications you install them to.
As a general rule you can assume that anything hosted on the Nexus site is safe to use. As you can see, if you look at the bar that tells you when the mod was last updated, created by, etc, there is an entry that stipulates the files have been scanned for viruses and are safe to use.
I hope you resolve your issue and, if you do resolve it, you will update this post.
I sort of had the same issue but with another mod. This is just over a month late however if this happens go into the C:/ drive Documents/MountandBlade2bannerlord folder. There are a few folders there. Right click and go to properties, then start clicking off the "read only" check box for all folders. This seemed to work for me.

Not saying its a Virus but it does delete some files from my game. I don't know which but i know it does because i verify the games integrity files it shows some 3 files are missing, a 30kb download goes on afterwards and everything is good again. Again not saying its a virus. But just delete the mod and verify game files and you should be good.
