About this mod

Add's new armor sets. Some will certainly be fantasy inspired, but the likelihood of WOW or Warhammer style pauldrons or skimpy armors are not likely here.
This is a personal hobby project of mine.

MOD TALK
Currectly this contains two armor sets, a Leather Cuirass and the Roving Mercenary Set.
More armors will be arriving as I am able to model and texture them, hopefully at least one weekly.
All armors will have an individual stat and showcase picture on the images page.

I don't have plans to do weapons or shields, as I personally am generally satisfied with the shapes and styles of weapons and shields.

SKELETON ARMOR
The skeleton armor is very much a special case, and there's a bit of a trick to it. You have 3 options to display the skeleton body;
Skeleton Form (Helm),
Skeleton Form (Cape) & Skeleton helm of some sort,
Skeleton Form (Body) and skeleton helm of some sort.

This is due to the way that forcing a non-helm piece to hide the head will cause a CTD upon attempting to render the character anywhere other than the inventory for some reason (Banner editor, walk around town, body editor). If anyone figures this out, PLEASE let me know.
SO! I tried to create some options to work around vanilla and modded armor set-ups. Really, any helm that has the XML "covers_head = true" will hide the human head and leave the skeleton one to be rendered. It's a pain in the read and not how I wanted things to go, but if wishes were fishes...
Also,  there may be some odd clipping in some spots, but the Skeleton Form looks weight-mapped properly in my testing.  I find bracers and vambraces work best. I pruposely kept the hands and feet really low-poly since they're usually not the focus and the skeleton is alway's being rendered we need all the help we can get.

SHOP TALK
Poly-Counts are being respected and kept low - I don't have a great graphics card so don't expect high poly models. Vanilla is roundabouts 8-9k average body armor.
Textures are 2k and will likely always be a single texture for the whole armor. I'm keeping these simple. Helms and pauldrons will probably share a texture to save video memory in-game, which will be 1k.

For anyone that wants to view my files or use this content, you have my express permission to do whatever you want with it.
There will always be a zip with the armor models available for pillaging or use elsewhere.

ME TALK
If you like my models, want to donate or appreciate me making these available for everyone, you can toss me a dollar at KOFI. If I get enough, eventually I hope to pay other people to make things that we can use for Bannerlord because I love this game.
