I've been using the Imperial Guarded Lord Helmet for most of my campaign as it offered the most protection, but I find it visually unappealing, makes the character look like a slavic old woman. With this change there will be alternatives to choose another look for your character without sacrificing armor stat.
The changes for each helmet are in different module files, as you may or may not want to use all at once.
Changed items:
- Western Crowned Plate Helmet (Shouldn't make balance issues, I believe only nobles use it. Haven't seen it at traders, maybe only appear at top Clan level. I got mine with the LootLord mod)
- Full Helm Over Mail Coif helmet (shouldn't make any balance issues, as it seems there is no troop that uses it. Very rare find at traders, maybe battle loot)
- Battanian Crowned Helmet (Battanian high end troops also use this along with nobles, so it may change unit balance)
- Sturgia Heavy Cavalry Helmet (added on request, keep in mind that this will propably mess with unit balance as troops use it)
Install:
Unzip and copy content into your
...\Steam Service\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\
folder. I didn't remove the option to download with manager, but as I don't use Vortex I don't know how it will work. Don't forget to enable the mod in the game Launcher.
