About this mod
Each non-Empire kingdom is divided in two, and the Eastern Empire is created.

And that's it, it does nothing else
Note that you will need the Unlanded Clans mod – this increases and equalizes the number of clans
All of this creates a generally vanilla gaming experience, but with more kingdoms, suzerains, events on the map, and more clans distributed between these old and new kingdoms
Each kingdom has a justification for its existence that roughly corresponds to the game's lore, check out the Images tab for an overview
I've run a few simulations with the Better Time mod, and each kingdom feels pretty good. The Battanian Lowlands is the weakest kingdom at the start (only one town and five castles), but it begins at peace and has time to prepare for future battles. So if you want a challenge and a worthy suzerain, swear an oath to the legendary High King Mon
The mod consists only of configuration text files, so is very compatible with other mods
It was originally made as an add-on to the Calradia Expanded map, but that map is in deep freeze now, so I transferred this to the vanilla game map
As kingdoms have gotten smaller, they are destroyed more quickly. In standard game mechanics, some of the noble clans that did not find a new kingdom in time would be lost entirely. This is fixed by another mod of mine, No More Rogue Clans (latest build), which I recommend in conjunction with this one
