About this mod

Smithy now produce smithing items - charcoal, Iron, Steel etc. and are more profitable.
Tier 5-6 Armor and Weapons are also more common.

Hi I'm not an active bannerlord player or modder anymore - but unless TW makes changes to Workshops this simple XML editing mod (no code) will work on all versions - has worked since October 2022

Intro

This small Smithy Workshop mod only improves Smithy Workshops and adds the production of smithing items such as Charcoal (if wood is available), Crude Iron, Iron, Steel etc. which is sold to the Town and distributed via caravans.

It also tweaks the conversion speed of iron to weapons and armor, especially Tier 5 and 6 items will be more common. BUT as always the Taleworlds math doesent make the Smithy millionars despite producing 130.000 denar armor :o) but It makes the Smithy viable as a workshop.

Works both for new game and saved game. Remember the spread of workshops are different if you start new game or use saved, new game will also see the smithing items asap.

- You could use this mod only to introduce smithing items to the market, with no interest in having smithing workshops yourself.


Important

This mod has nothing to do with in game smithing or any mods who tweaks that, it only tweaks the production of Workshop and make it more profitable so you earn passive income.

XML editing only - No Dependencies
(meaning low tech mod only used xml editing(no code) and it does not depend on other mods like Butterlib, Harmony etc in order to work)
