This mod makes all companions you hire start out fresh. You get to shape them from the beginning yourself.
Last tested on e1.7.2.
v2.0.0 is heavily updated.
There's now an in-game options where you can tweak what you want.
There's also an option to enable/disable a tournament fix, so that your companions can start joining tournaments from the start. In vanilla they require a hero to have at least 100 in either One handed or Two handed skill (which these scrubs clearly don't have). This is enabled by default.
The companion will be reset when you hit the pay dialog line. Up until this point the mod won't toch the companions you talk to.
They will retain their gear and appearance, but based on the age set in the options, they will ofcourse look older or younger.
Compatibility:
There should be no compatibility issues with any official patches.
Unless they modify the hiring process of companions or tournament requirements, all mods should be fine too.
Installation:
For manual install, unzip and put "RookieCompanions" in Bannerlord's Modules folder and enable it in the launcher.
If this mod makes your game crash, make sure to unblock the .dll file!

- Navigate to "Modules/RookieCompanions/bin/Win64_Shipping_Client"
- Right click "RookieCompanions.dll" -> Click Properties -> Click Unblock button at the bottom.
