Currently, one of the biggest balancing issues in Bannerlord is the negative effect of prosperity on food.
While the system itself makes sense (more workforce, higher food consumption), there is a massive problem:
There is NO way to stop prosperity from going up until there is a food shortage, resulting in the starvation of your garrison!

Until TaleWorlds properly addresses this issues, this mod fixes the problem by allowing the player to choose from one
of five tax rates, that can be levied in addition to the population tax already built in the game.

Taxation provides a small bonus to trade tarrifs, proportional to the wealth of your castle or town, but also
decreases your towns Prosperity every day, along with Loyalty and Hearths. (For the details see images)

By choosing a sufficient tax rate, Prosperity will stop to grow before your castle or town runs out of food.

THIS MOD SHOULD BE FULLY SAVEGAME COMPATIBLE - BUT ITS NEW, SO MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SAVE BEFORE TRYING IT OUT!

If you believe some of the values are way too high/low or have other suggestions, please let me know, I am still making adjustments.

NOTE: The effects on Prosperity, Hearths and Loyalty cannot be seen in the town/castle menues but are nonetheless working,
there is a daily report on those effects (see image).

NOTE: When loading a savegame from v1.0.x with a newer version of the mod, all tax rates will be reset to "No Taxes".

This mod comes with a config file:
..\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\ProsperityTaxes\ProsperityTaxes.configurations"
Just open and edit it with any text editor if you prefer different values for the taxation effects.
