Doesn't work with mainline branch e1.4.1 . Might be mod conflict but I highly doubt it.

Thanks for the lightweight mod. I wanted to keep the functionality of big weapons chopping through fools, without the ability to cleave through enemies like I'm Sauron in Fellowship of the Ring.

that happens with the 'crushthrough' property like hammers had in warband, but that isnt implemented for bannerlord yet.

That ability is in the 2H tree ("crush through") but I don't think the perk works yet, or "crush through" hasn't been programmed yet.

      tldr: yes, but no

No offence but read the discription.

If you think that he copied the idea of cleaving, then you should know that its vanilla, all keehuuu did was implement all 2 handed instead of just 2 handed axe (vanilla)

Amazing! you found me out dude! Here's an idea, tell the other mod author that I'm copying him, tell him to tell the admins, they can then check the source code of both mods and they'll find one modifies 1 line of code (which the other one doesn't, so our mods are actually compatible which is hilarious), and the other mod modifies a bunch of stuff for pretty much no reason since the game does all of it natively (and without bugs).

Go on, I'll wait. Amazing detective work btw!

i mean, the poster is obviously not reading your descriptions, but your replies to people are ALWAYS snarky and rude about it.

I will never use your mods because of this, even if they are better.

Well the thing is that it's not like im selling a product here, this is a mod that i made for free on my free time (which isnt a lot because i still work from home, which sucks). So when ppl come at me with stupid s*** there's no reason for me to be all PC about it, whether the mod gets downloads or not makes no difference to me.

Idk but the replies don't really look "rude" to me. It's snarky but if I am found wrong because of my own negligence I'll expect to be roasted for it.

jesus christ... who tf are you and who tf cares about your opinion?
you got a free mod, that isnt even a ripoff, like you said it is... and you're complaining about it??
you are literally whats wrong with the world today (amongst other things, ofc).
stop whining and/or being offended by everything for absolutely no good f***ing reason. or just keep it to yourself, that works too.
      kthxbye

thanks for the mod. complaining about something that is free is lame. keehuu's response is funny and i think justified after being accused of "copying" which is rather annoying to modders.

I think keehu makes a good point in his response, but I believe that it would encompass the tone of rude and snarky as the other person said. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, because as we all know sarcasm doesn't transfer well through text, but still, it seems more rude than it could or should have been. Either way I don't think that there is any reason to gripe on his attitude considering, as he said, he does this for free and you shouldn't complain about it. Whatever, take it as you wish, but who gives a s*** anyway.

@keehuu, i recent saw a mod that add weapon collision which look out to be nicer than vanilla but i wonder will its work out with your "slicer" for 2 handed weapon?

It should, my mod makes no changes to collision logic.

I will use this mod but I'm just wondering what was the argument of devs to do this. Why can't all weapons hit everything they touch, maybe a smaller amount. Is it because of performance hit of more calculations maybe?

Items have properties which can be easily modified on the .xml file. For whatever reason, this is a property that was hardcoded on the actual game code rather than implemented through the .xml, i believe this was done by the devs just to save time and they forgot about it. So i believe they will eventually get to it and fix it themselves. (by basically doing exactly what this mod does)

I suspect it has something to do with balance. Big two handed maces and axes are slower, so they have more bonuses like slicing through enemies and damage against shields. Two handed swords are faster, so that's where the bonus stops. Just a guess.

By the way, I'm switching to this mod from Xerberus or whatever it was. Nice work finding a simpler solution.

Can't you already do this somewhat with heavy 2 handers on horseback? I take out two at time constantly, cool mod though.

As a general rule of thumb, make sure to read the description of mods. They tend to have important information and answers to questions such as yours.
