Hey guys I have done some work on a different mod - Post Mortem - Play as a ally after you die.
Works for 1.7.0 - Hasn't been tested for any other branch. Also unsure if it works on Sieges, but you can play as a ally once u are knockout in a normal battle.
For those who, like me want this fabulous mod but no one are up to date, juste use "RTS Camera", when you die you can select and play one of your soldier :D

Press U or O after you are knocked out to make it work / switch to a new character
INSTALL - Place mod folder into your module folder - like you would usually do with any other mod :)
