About this mod

Armor XML replacement for 'Realistic Battle mod Combat Module 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 Stable' All item stats remain the same just all the armor is tagged as civilian.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Update - New File of edited 1.8 beta combat module to adjust to any XML layout adjustments done by the RBM team. Big thanks to them for civilian tagged more armor this time (a few weird items weren't civi tagged like "Highland Cloak" despite its ID and mesh is named "Civil_cloak")

This Mod is (Like my others) a XML replacement and not a standalone module. This one is for all the Armor within Realistic Battle
Mod Combat Module
specifically the stable 1.7.0/1.7.1 version so obviously RBM is required and credit goes to the developers of that mod Marnah93 and Philozoraptor

What is this file? What it do?
XMLs are pretty much just structured text documents that house the games information, within these files is item stats, tags and values that the game will read and put into place. These files in this mod are edited versions of the original XMLs made by the original author -
  • arm_armors_modified.xml
  • body_armors_modified.xml
  • head_armors_modified.xml
  • leg_armors_modified.xml
  • shoulder_armors_modified.xml

All the stats and information of these items is the same as the original Combat module with one minor addition to every single armor, everyone of them can be worn as civilian armor in towns, taverns, Halls etc.
Naturally this mod is mainly for role play no real game changer other than giving players the option to wear what they want when they want, but this mod like my others will make missions from Fourberie easier.

Installation/Merging
  • Download and Install Realistic Battle Mod Combat Module 1.7.0/1.7.1 if you haven't I don't know why you wouldn't have it already, Also Recommend Picking up the AI Module as well (of course)
  • Open the above mods Module Data file location - on steam it'll look like this - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade I1\Bannerlord\Modules\RealisticBattleCombatModule\ModuleData
  • Vortex or mod manager uses just locate the Module data file by browsing the mods files
  • In the above file there's a lot of XMLs storing all the items information within the mod
  • I recommend making a back up of the original XMLs encase you wish to revert
  • Download the file from this page and simply move and replace my XMLs into the Module Data file of the combat module
  • There's only 5 XMLs present in this replacement but with them in the Module Data file all armor in game modified by RBM will be tagged as Civilian and wearable in your civilian armor section.

End note the more I browse through my armor mods I have installed and look through their XMLs its funny the type of armor you find already tagged as civilian and the weird few that probably should but just aren't. Got a few I'll probably make a replacement for that are just weird Like a 'Cloth Hood' not being wearable as civilian or many hats or caps not tagged as Civilian that I'll get around to. I'll make all Armor Civilian tagged at some point, the only none tagged items I'll tolerate are the DP ones.
