As of version e1.4.2, Bannerlord now includes a hotkey for opening up the developer console. The default key to open up the console is [Alt + ~].
Due to popular request, the Developer console mod will still be available if you are playing on an earlier version of the game.
IMPORTANT If Ctrl + ~ doesn't work for you, try pressing CTRL and the key above Tab and below Esc on your keyboard.
The spawn prop command requires the player to be in a scene (e.g. battle/walk around/etc) Example usage for the spawn prop command is as follows: mission.spawn_prop ship_a
Side Note: There is a limitation on the Developer Console right now as all spaces will be treated as a separate argument and there isn't a way to easily get around this. Commands where spaces are needed in the LAST argument should be fine, but not if there is an argument needed after this.
-Open: 'C:\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs'; open text file called "engine_config" -Find "cheat_mode = 0" and change the 0 to a 1 so it looks like "cheat_mode = 1" -Save (Ctrl + S) and close text file -Play game (Alt + ~ to open Dev. window)
error:Some or all of the code contained in this module could not be verified. TaleWorlds uses unverified/unofficial code. is not responsible for the consequences resulting from its operation.
@Thoragoros1 - nope, 1.1.4 doesnt have it yet. its us epic games users that suffer with eg not allowing us to get the latest game version. or if you know a way to make the console work, please share. apart from Alt+~because that doesnt do anything.
??? This mod is obsolete guys and not needed anymore as the console now comes with the game after version 1.4.2. Just press Alt and ~ and it'll work without this mod. For future reference...all mods go into the steamapps/common/Bannerlord/Modules folder. Just shove the files in there and activate in launcher.
when i enable cheat mode and join the game, i type something in the console but then it still says cheat mode aint enabled. When i go back to the config it sais 0 but i change it to 1 but it seems to always go back to 0?
If you haven't fixed it yet, I'd suggest saving using the "Save As" button and enter the extact name of the file that you opened. It should prompt you to replace the existing file, which you should click yes to. This would mean the file you edited would be replacing the old one. Let me know.
