Since version 1.4 (Steam Game Version & Gog Game Version & Select Directory Game) :
Download the file and unzip the content where you want.

    1 - Download File
    2 - Unzip it
    3 - Execute "LaunchMe.bat"

If you have problems using version 1.4, do not hesitate to reuse version 1.2 or 1.3.

For any problem launching the game with mods, be aware that UnblockDLL does
not corrupt your game. It only unblocks files blocked by the system. I
therefore invite you to update your mods and check your mods one by one
in order to check if your game is malfunctioning.

      This is the correct path
      "Drive Letter Here:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules"
      __________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hope this helps, many confused people will tell you to put "Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules"

This method incorrect, unless you installed your games and Steam on your C drive, which most gamers don't do.

"This file came from another computer, in case you forgot you didnt write it"
"Clicking weblinks can load stuff, literally anything thats there"
"Talking to strangers can get you killed, only strangers are dangerous , and all strangers are dangerous"
"Restart your computer for 10th time, maybe that will fix it even though nothing has changed, my script says so"

Anyone else tired these kinds of interruptions to life?

I managed to unlock mods by using 1.3 version:
    1)Folow installation guide.
    2)Open "UnblockDLL.ps1" file in notepad.
    3)Change
    $InstallGame = Get-ItemPropertyValue "HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 261550" -name "InstallLocation" -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue

to whatever you game path is.
    Example string:
    $InstallGame = "c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\"

    4)Launch Bat file.

Having an issue with the following dll: nvwgf2umx.dll

Causes the game to crash when attempting to load certain objects? Causes disk read error and effectively disables the disk from being read. It's certainly connected to Bannerlord, as it happens after a Bannerlord crash. Attempting to find log.

Don't use this mod. It doesn't do anything at all. I kept running it but it doesn't unblock any of the files I want it to.

For anyone having a similar problem to me here's what I did for this specific issue I imagine others will run into.

So for starters several mods worked flawlessly yet others that supposedly were updated for the newest versions were giving me .dll missing errors. When I looked into this it led me to believe the .dll's needed to be unblocked I also seen several of these unblocker mods and mentions of it in other mods here. However none of this seemed to work.

Turns out what the actual problem was is if you are using the windows games pass version of bannerlord there is a separate folder path in the bin file that needs to be referenced. 'Gaming.Desktop.x64_Shipping_Client'

So the fix was actually simple. Go to your modules folder and open every mod you have installed and see if there is a "bin" folder in there. If there is open the bin folder and see if there is a subfolder labelled "Gaming.Desktop.x64_Shipping_Client" if there is not, then simply rename that subfolder to "Gaming.Desktop.x64_Shipping_Client" without the quotations.

Problem solved. Your game will now locate the mods .dlls for windows gamepass version.

If this still does not work for you... then go through and make sure the .dlls are unblocked. You can simply right click the downloaded mods zip folder, go to properties and unblock the zip its self. That way all the .dll's are unblocked when you extract it rather than manually navigating to each one in every mod.
