Why use a short, useless stick on horseback while you are carrying a very long spear?
This mod will allow you to force your horsemen to use polearms.

FEATURES
- You can force horsemen(both melee and ranged) to use polearms by commanding them to hold fire.
- If horsemen not commanded to hold fire, they will choose their weapons freely as vanilla.
- If horsemen dismount or lose their horse, they will choose their weapons freely as vanilla.
KNOWN ISSUE
- Horsemen that are forced to use polearms will periodically do weird animations such re-equip the polearms.
(This is because the vanilla weapon selection is hard-coded and cannot be changed, so every time a weapon is changed in the vanilla features, this mod will re-equip the polearms.)

- Works on 1.6.4
- Safe to add or remove from existing game
