Hey guys i wanted to share something with you. Excuse my bad english. This mod changes the prices in a good way but most of them seem too cheap. So i used the Mod configurator and ran around checking prices in different towns until i get everything in a "balanced" order. And some horse quests give you around 50k gold now just for a few horses so i made horses cheaper again.
I increased shield, horse armor and mace prices because they always seem to be too cheap. I put tier 6 items value on 100% and slash/ pierce etc. values on very low percentages. I increased armor prices and ran around to 10-20 cities(vlandian and battanian cities) until i saw no armorprices over 40-50k. If the best armor in the game is 40-50k then so be it. You can still change it. Armor that you cannot smith but only find in big battles etc. is a fair way to make money in my opinion. Because of the risk and the time it needs to get to that point of the game. And you cant have big battles all the time especially in the early game. But i dont think that you should be able to do 1 horse quest for a lord (20-50kgold) and buy the super cheap gear tier 6 instantly in the first 10-15 minutes of using this mod because they are so cheap. But it sucks if everything has insane prices once they get certain stats like in vanilla. Im using Calradia Factions enhanced with all required mods. That means Vagir swadian open source armory etc. so keep that in mind.
Yet im still not satisfied if anyone got some suggestion on how to balance it even more please tell me. And thank you @Humanlikecreature for this mod.
These are the percentages i used. I couldnt get everything into one screenshot sorry^^
EDIT: I just went on one of my old saves with the fitting mods and the new values and tried to smith a 2 handed sword and a javelin with max length and thamaskene steel. These are the prices i got:
Still too much in my opinion the prices in the Shops are super low which makes it possible to buy a lot of Tier 6 weapons to get steel for weapons that are super expensive. Smiething is more broken with this mod than before.
Armor is expensive in comparison but it has to be. Making easy money (with horses for example) and the best stuff is cheap at the start sucks. (EDIT: In my opinion.)
I was wondering... Does tier value only increase price depending on which tier a certain item has? And the other values like cut etc. change the price depending on how high the stats are? Is there a way i can go over 100% with the Tier value percentage? In that way i could balance my smithing right? If i make a super long javelin thats around 20k with this mod (vanilla much more) it wouldnt matter so much because its looking at the tier value and not the pierce stat. Same for 2handed swords. The ridiculous prices some items have just because of 1 stat wouldnt happen anymore if that works.
Will your mod affect smithing too in the future? Since buying Tier 6 weapons is very cheap with this mod but the prices for smithed weapons doesnt change. So i can buy tier 6 weapons for just a few thousand in the shop then SMelt them for steel and create weapons that cost 3-5 times more. Or is it a bug that Smithed weapons still cost the same for me? EDIT: I just saw a post about someone saying that the Skill increase for smithing depends on the value of the weapon s*** thats a dilemma...
EDIT 2: Last thing i wanna say ims orry i will stop spamming after this ;D
I noticed that if you use armor mods the new armor inside the shops changes in price for some reason. The high tier armor from swadian open source armory etc. is the most expensive without TrueItemValues. But with the mod they are cheaper than the vanilla helmets. For example the best vanilla helm at 30k puts the new helmets from mods that are around 60 armor at around 10k. Without the mod the helmets from the armour mods costs around 50-60k. Much more than the vanilla. Same goes for armor, gauntlets and boots. I load this mod after the armour mods. I changed the percentages around and they will always stay cheaper with this mod. They barely increase in price compared to the vanilla ones. Maybe that information is useful so i wanted to share it.
These True mods are some of the best for the game hands down. Found a small bug though; the "Trusty" armor modifier seems like it's supposed to increase the price of an item by 10%, but it reduces it's price TO 10%. Imperial Laminar Shoulders for me cost 3084, but the Trust variant only costs 308, this holds for other Trusty things I've found so far.
This mod doesn't change modifies, there's a separate one for that. If that is what you are referring to, I don't recall any Trusty modifier, but there is a Rusty one and none of my modifiers are 10% price, some are down to 25% of the original price however when very badly damaged.
You aren't supposed to be able to find "Trusty" Items in the wild (i.e. markets in cities). They are only put on companion Armor so that you can't hire a companion, strip them, and sell their items for hundreds of thousands of Denars (in the normal game at least). Stats remain mostly the same though, so you can wear your companion's armor for cheap.
Thank you very much for the mod. Installed all your mods. I have a question: is it possible to reduce the rewards for quests for the delivery of a herd of horses? And then it turns out too much reward.
I have the True Ransom, True Army, this mod, True Battle loot, and True Modifiers
I am wondering: since true battle loot makes gear from fights hella abundant and wildly profitable selling to towns, is there any way/mods to increase the price of everything else? This whole setup seems very unbalanced with regards to the standard vanilla features (like bribes, quests, etc) as well as mods that provide a vanilla like experience. Perhaps a way to increase the buying/selling disparity? I love the idea of picking up a lot of loot from battles and stuff, and all of the features of more expensive troops is super realistic, but the fact that a single bandit hideout basically makes me 10k+ seems a bit gamebreaking outside of the features of the other true rebalance mods considering the price of bribing a lord is less than the value of a good party of looters and a bandit hideout.
Additionally, I am just curious what all of the sliders in this mod do... I have adjusted them and checked the cost values and there is no change at all. Does it take time to update the values? 1.7.1 if it matters.

Can you do the same for the modded armor?
With mod:
-crafted
-normal
