About this mod

Are you bored of seeing a helmet worth 5,000 only to see its practical clone worth 300,000?
Then fear not friend, for this mod does 1 thing and does it well, normalizing the prices and bringing them down to earth

This mod simply overwrites the default value assignment model and instead uses relevant stats, the material they are made from and comparisons to primary goods to estimate price
Prices of trade goods have not been altered and are instead the base for evaluating the reset

It is highly recommended to install the sister mods of this deployment:
True Battle Loot - For battlefield loot management
True Army Costs - Adds additional layers of financial complexity to recruitment and upgrades
True Quality Modifiers - Reduces low quality equipment and cost discrepancies from modifiers (hardened, tattered, charred...)

Melee and thrown weapons are all calculated based on the materials used to make then along with stats
Remaining items all evaluate stats to estimate value since they do not have materials specified

Mounts have received a cost raise and harnesses reduced to better align with overall animal values and estimated training cost
This mod does not change modifiers (masterwork, balanced, crude, ...), only the core item costs, please use True Quality Modifiers for normalizing the modifiers

MCM integrated
Values in settings can be increased or decreased as needed to accommodate the needs of the player and other mods, specially those that alter item stats

This mod is part of the True Gameplay Overhaul pack:
True Limits - Set your own limits and formulas for various calculations such as party sizes and maximum prisoners
True Battle Loot - Loot the battlefields to your delight, just remember to reward your soldiers and not to loot your allies "too" often
True Army Costs - Forming an army is a costly endeavor, prepare to have the way you view your troops be altered
True Quality Modifiers - Reduce meaningless equipment scavenged from the field, and no more 17x magic price modifiers
True Prisoners - Control your prisoners and launch daring (and not so daring) rescues
True Relations - Your reputation with those around you will change with your actions, thus you will earn traits and skills accordingly
True Noble Opinion - Fixes the opinions of nobles and mercs to be separate from the clan leader
True Arena Experience - Gain full XP during arena fights and tournaments
True Ransoms - Control the flow of ransom gold and liberate notables with wealth

Designed for and tested on 1.6.3 to e1.7.0
Future updates may affect the mod as developers continue to alter the code structure in which case a separate version may be released accordingly

v1.0.1: Default multipliers adjusted as per recurring demands, note that you can further modify these values in MCM
v1.0.2: Rebalanced default cost of bows and crossbows
v1.0.3: Excluded farm animals from calculation to maintain native asset distribution
v1.0.4: Removed a conflict with custom battle mode
v1.0.5: QoL update to prevent launcher issues
v1.0.6: Added controls to alter the material costs of default crafted weapons
v1.0.7: Corrected some value abnormalities in the native code that resulted in some items to have irrational values
v1.0.8: Adjusted smithed item values to be more inline with the new values

Some vanilla items have unexpected features set by TW (ex. Infantryman Mail over Leather is set to have 10x its worth)
While I am modifying overall prices, I cannot modify individual items without also changing their stats, this is a limitation by how TW built the engine
To avoid conflicts with other mods that modify equipment stats I have not modified any individual items, which means such abnormalities remain
I highly recommend downloading the Realistic Battle Mod combat module which updates item stats and corrects these issues

If using this mod with the Realistic Battle Mod or a similar mod that alters item stats, please ensure this True mod is set further down in the load order to ensure maximum compatibility
