Backround
I made this for myself when I was looking for LOTR mods for Bannerlord. Basically I realised there already was alot of Rohan like equipment in the game. So I searched around and found out how to edit the XML file. However I've noticed Taleworlds like to update the spnpccharacters.xml so that makes it stop working, but so far they've kept the troop trees constant and its easy to just compare the files and only add the battania parts.

The mod replaces weapons and armor for most of Battanias troops to look like a Rohan army from lotr. Mainly focused has been on changing the cavalary to look like the Rohirrim. Green flag and a icon with some kind of horse is recommended to complete the look! But even if you're not into lotr, myself I find this troop tree much more fun for a Battanian army.
The base theme is hoods, googled helmets and capes. And the Rohirrim is equipped to spawn with varied equipment, some use Spears, some 2 handed axes, and some has a throwing spear. All to give that lotr feel when you charge your enemy and some of your warriors throw spears etc.
Even some archers spawn with shield so that your banner is shown more in your army lines. Troops has gotten round shields to fit the Rohan theme.
The Battanian elite flans has also been slightly edited to not have silly gold helmets, they have helmets and are still superior to the Battanian Ranger added in the base troop tree.
Installation
Go to the folder: "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\SandBoxCore\ModuleData"
There make a copy of your original spnpccharacters.xml and then replace that file with the modded file.
Mod compatibility
I am very new to bannerlord modding. Myself I used this for a bit with some other mods. But after once breaking my game I now use only this XML edit as my only modification. So use this at your own risk. However, it basically only edits just this file. So if you arent using any other mods editing troops, you should be fine.
