When you leave an army your war party will go through a “disorganized” period. While I think a disorganized period of an hour may be realistic, the disorganized state I am experiencing seems to last for half a day! Crawling around the map at reduced speed for an extender period of time is simply too frustrating.
This simple mod allows you to set the disorganized state to your liking. I suspect that most of you are going to make it as short as possible. Base on my observations, this debuff seems to only affect the player as my companion parties appear to move at full speed after the army breaks up.
The mod’s configurations file is AdjustableDisorganizedStateDuration.txt and it is located in the same folder as the mod’s DLL file. The value DisorganizedStateDuration sets the duration of the disorganized period that you experience. It has a valid range of is 0.1 to 2.5 inclusive. The game’s default is 2.5 and the mod’s default is 0.1.
Save Game Safe! You can add and remove this mod at any time. It does not save any data to the save file. It can be added to an existing game.
Compatibility With Other Mods: This mod overrides the DefaultPartyImpairmentModel. It will conflict with any mod that attempts to change the same code. This mod does not use harmony. It is less likely to conflict with future versions of the game. (Unless Taleworlds starts randomly renaming procedures again or makes other arbitrary code changes.)
