Wouldn’t it be nice if you could demand that a town under your control hold a tournament? With this mod installed you can demand that a tournament be held in your honor, for a configurable amount of influence.

If you own a town you can always demand that a tournament be held. If you are the king you can demand that a tournament be held in any town in your kingdom. The default amounts of influence are 5 for a town that you own and 10 for a town that you do not own. Valid range for both values is 0 to 100 inclusive.

The mod can be configured by editing the values in the DemandATournamentInYourHonor.txt file. It is located in the same folder as the mod’s DLL file. The OwnerInfluenceCost value sets the influence required if you own the town. The KingInfluenceCost value sets the influence required if you are the king demanding a tournament in someone else’s town.

You can find the option to demand a tournament on the arena menu. If the option does not appear, you do not qualify for holding a tournament in the town you are in. You can only demand a tournament in a town once a day.

Reasons for the menu option not appearing:
-There is already a tournament underway.
-The town is not part of your kingdom.
-You are not the king or you do not own the town.
-You don’t have enough influence.
-You have already demanded a tournament for the day.
-You forgot to enable the mod on the game’s mods menu.

Save Game Safe!
You can add and remove this mod at any time. It does not save any data to the save file. It can be added to an existing game.

Compatibility With Other Mods:
This mod does not use harmony or change any game code. It adds an extension module to the game that adds a single menu item to the town’s arena menu. It is unlikely to conflict with other mods or future updates to the game. (Unless Taleworlds starts randomly renaming procedures again or makes other arbitrary code changes.)
