About this mod

**Mod confirmed to be working with full release**

This "mod" is for those who used the separate music/combat audio sliders from warband to make sure the orchestra didn't show up to the field battle.

This maintains all the vanilla overworld and tavern music while removing the immersion-breaking combat music.

**Mod confirmed to be working with full release**

Not so much a mod as a rough and tumble deletion of some gamecode, but it works just fine.

All I've done is delete any combat/siege related music files from the "PC" folder and edited "soundtrack.xml" to remove any reference to those files (thank you to Notepad++ for making this a 10 minute process instead of a 20 hour one). The result is all the vanilla music being present while you run around the map and visit taverns, but the battles are silent for those who need that for their sense of immersion.

The short victory ditties are interestingly a small portion of larger faction-themed music files, so those are still present, but I don't mind those as much.

**Disclaimer**
Back up your "music" folder before attempting to install this file

This mod will not be compatible with any of the popular music replacement mods, as they effectively do the same exact thing: replace the PC folder and replace the soundtrack.xml file

**Install Instructions**

1. Navigate to your Bannerlord install location (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord)
2. Open the folder titled "music"
3. Delete the "PC" subfolder and the "soundtrack.xml" files (be sure to back these up first, or be ready to redownload the game via steam if this breaks)
4. Copy/paste the folder/file of the same name from the "Combat Music Removed" zip file into "music"
5. Launch the game and enjoy
