About this mod

This mod will increase the companion and party limits without making lords unrecruitable.

Over Bannerlords first year of early access I had several mods that increased the number of companions that you could have in your clan. When I started playing again in 1.5.7, none of those mods were working. I simply rolled my own mod and did not release it. The mod allowed for 1000 companions, a truly silly amount.

After 1.5.8 dropped I extended the mod to give me 1000 parties in addition to 1000 companions. This seemed to work just fine, at least at first.

When I became King of Vlandia, I was interested in recruiting some additional lords. The first lord that I tried to recruit was a good friend with no fiefs. I expected that he would join me for a reasonable cost. Instead he would not join me for any cost, even when I gave him 2.5 million denars and goods of equal value. At this point I knew something was wrong.

As it turns out, the number of potential parties that you can have is factored into the recruitment cost for lords. When I modded the game to allow for 1000 parties, I had made the recruitment cost astronomical for myself. This is the reason that this mod only allows for 10 parties.

JUST TO BE CLEAR: NO MOD CAN INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PARTIES THAT YOU CAN HAVE WITHOUT CREATING PROBLEMS ELSEWHERE IN THE GAME.

I choose ten parties as this is double the number you can have in an unmodded game. As it turns out it was exactly the number that I need to have in the game. I decided that one hundred companions should be enough for anyone. I currently have some forty companions in my current game and I don’t plan on hiring any more. (Unless I see another good one. Maybe another engineer that would make a good governor...)

Save Game Safe!
You can add and remove this mod at any time. It does not save any data to the save file. It can be added to an existing game.

Compatibility With Other Mods:
This mod does not use harmony. It overrides the DefaultClanTierModel and will conflict with any mod that changes the same game code.
