Companions in this game have many focus points in skills that they have no use for. Sometimes the attributes and focus points that they have don’t even match their skills. How did my surgeon get 120 medical skill when he only has one intelligence point and no focus points in medical skill? This mod will allow you to correct all that.

This mod will refund all attribute points and focus points and deselect all selected perks. Simply go to the tavern menu of any town and select the Companion Respeccing Office menu choice. You will be present with a list of all of your companions and you can choose which one to respec. The companion does not need to be in your party or in the same town.

There are other mods that allow a companion to be respecced, but they work slightly differently. It is possible for a companion to have more focus points and more attribute points than their level allows. If that is the case, any mod looking at the DefaultCharacterDevelopmentModel may lose some of the attribute and focus points that a hero already has. Some mods like my One Attribute and Two Focus Points Per Level mod don’t use the DefaultCharacterDevelopmentModel and those points will also be lost.

This mod adds up all the points the hero has, from whatever source and refunds those amounts. Better still, you will never have to type out those funky Bannerlord names that I seem destine to misspell.

1.1.1 UPDATE: There were some issues involving the smithing perks’ added attribute and focus points. Those issues have been resolved. Additionally you can now use the mod to respec your own character.

Save Game Safe!
You can add and remove this mod at any time. It does not save any data to the save file. It can be added to an existing game.

Compatibility With Other Mods:
This mod does not use harmony or change any game code. It adds an extension module to the game that adds a single menu item to the town’s tavern menu. It is unlikely to conflict with other mods or future updates to the game. (Unless Taleworlds starts randomly renaming procedures again or makes other arbitrary code changes.)
