      I'm late but for anyone else reading this it does work IF you use existing settlements instead of new.

    Hello, when I want to talk to the Valkyrie leader, the game crashes. What could be causing this?

    This is neat. Curious to see how balanced they are with RBM and De Re Militari's troop overhauls.

    Minor quirk that all of the Valkyrie lords and wanderers have the 'imperial' voice set. Would be cool if some could have different voices in accordance with where they're originally from in the lore/encyclopedia biographies, but I'm guessing they all only have the imperial voice because voices are tied to culture and they all share the valkyrie culture.

    This mod is incompatible with Banner Kings (ValkyrieSettlements specifically, it seems), even with the Simple install.

      Huh, It looks like its because when using "Existing" settlements, the hand-over from Sturiga to Valkyrie at the begining of the game causes a race condition. There is no "CapturerHero" as the game hasn't fully loaded yet.

      I've put a pull request up on Bannerkings to fix this, just a simple "ignore" the Bannerkings Settlement owner change code if theres no CapturerHero, instead of crashing.

      you are a great modder, i just hope the devs of banner kings will work with you to make this compatible, both are perfect mods. I wanna play with these two right now, i hope you'll follow up with them. Thank you and more blessings!

      I posted this comment mostly just for the awareness of other users who might want to use both mods, but I'm very pleasantly surprised to see you take action to resolve the incompatibility. Good work on the quick pull request, I look forward to using both mods together.

      You are awesome! Thanks for looking into making them compatible. I know it's a lot to ask, and you've already done a ton for us (this is my favorite mod), but being able to have a full compatibility patch for BK and BKCE would be awesome!!

      @KeiyannX I haven't attempted running them together again yet. I;ve been periodically checking the BannerKings github and it doesn't look like they merged the Valkyrie mod author's commit yet. Bannerkings just released an update, but it doesn't look like the fix has been implemented yet unfortunately. I'm certainly no expert with Github though.

    Getting this anytime i start a new campaign with new settlements on 1.2.8 no other mods besides necessary ones and achievement unblocker. Works just fine on regular settlements.

    Hey, could u provide us with images of how each configuration should look like in folders? Maybe it's just me but doing this was quite confusing for me, screen shots would help a lot! Also do you know any popular mods that will likely crash with your mod? I use way too many of them to list them here so I would love if you would just list what won't work for sure. Another question, first thing that came in to my mind after I saw that they get just one town. Won't they be just obliterated by other factions? I assume that they probably have way less strength then the other kingdoms so everyone will want to just take them.

      Also how should we use these troops? Can i just assume that infantry is pretty much like sturgian one's with similar strengths and archers are also on similar level as battanian elite archers? Or are there any specific differences that I should keep in mind?

      Hi, honestly, I recommend using a mod manager, such as Mod Organiser 2 or Vortex.
      I've made a FOMOD installer so using a mod manager makes it very easy to install.

      Most mods should work, as this is a self-contained Faction mod, the only mods that should conflict are other map changing mods, 
      This is why theres an option to not use Valkyrie custom settlements.

      Generally they do pretty well for themselves, they are pretty strong now, with 6 clans and a lot of good fighter nobles.
      They don't expand to much though as they don't have the clans to support it, but I'm ok with that.

      You are spot on with the infantry and archer usage, I wanted to have them similar to the old Nord troop tree from warband, and this was the result.
      I am thinking of expanding the troop tree or reworking it, but who knows.

      Iv tried Using mo2 but I always get a no valid game data error and it doesn't show up when in the launcher. I think its because at least for me on MO2 it shows a file tree of it under modules first then broken down into Valkyrie and settlements sub folders but im not too sure, First time using mo2 on bannerlord

    is this mod woring with the amazon armor and body? I'm having a crash with the valkyrie mod before game start and I'm not sure it's because I chose the skimpy option

    edit: problem solved itself when I made a clean install, awesome mod thanks
