"The Chae' Nad'ra?! Ah, stop it! They don't exist! If these tales were true they would rule these lands by now! And I don't mean Battania, son... I mean Calradia!"

That is as close as I got to the truth. Most people in Battania have heard of them, some even claim to have seen them, but somehow in every tale they are described differently. Sometimes they are huge, seven foot tall giants, and sometimes they are as small  and slender as a young man before he got his first hair on the chin. But what the tales all agree on, is that the Chael Nad'ra fight ferociously and without fear. They can tear through a line of the best Cataphracts with their bows and axes and weird sword-spears. There numbers are low but when they emerge from the shadows and take a stand... they will make a difference!

Re-Introduction:
The mod adds a troop tree using ATC (Adonnay's Troop Changer) that replaces some of the Battanian recruits with Chael Nad'ra recruits. The troop tree is heavily bow focused with strong archers, horse archers and a single shielded infantry line. They mod also comes with a bunch of custom equipment like armors, swords, two daggers, one axe and a glaive. The noble troop tree consists only of mounted troops with slightly superior equipment to visually separate them from the regular troops.

The Chael Nad'ra come as both male and female recruits, each with their own progression tree. The women evolve into archers or horse archers with sword and shield while the men evolve into infanterie or horse archers with lances. All troops are equipped with custom weapons and armor that consists mostly of re-used stock Bannerlord equipment. While visually identical, the stats of the equipment is changed drastically to emphasize the superiority of the Chael Nad'ren craftsmen.



Installation:

Just use Vortex OR Extract the contents of the 7z folder to your Bannerlord/Modules folder and enable the mod in the Bannerlord Launcher. The mod order is irrelevant as there are no dependencies with other mods. Even ATC can be loaded afterwards.


Where to find the troops:
With the optional Battanian spawn patch, the Chael Nad'ra spawn in Battanian settlements alongside the regular Battanian recruits. In player-owned settlements all recruits are Chael Nad'ra. Of course all this can be configured in the included ATC configuration file ChaelNadra_ATC.modconfig.xml in the mod's \Config subfolder.


The troops are OP!
Yes, they are. They are supposed to be. The joy of troop trees like this is that you can change and adapt pretty much everything in this mod to your liking. Modify them yourself or don't use them.


OPTIONAL:
If you are bothered by the missing string error in the smithy when selecting the crafting templates, or you want to mix the weapon parts
with Bannerlord weapon parts, simply install ACTI!
ACTI does NOT work anymore as of Bannerlord version 1.7.0!
