      It will work with Calradia Expanded but not with Calradia Expanded Kingdoms.

      I had planned to make a compatible version but as CEK hadn't been updated for a while I had put it on hold.
      I've just seen that it was updated a few days ago so I'll look into it again.

    Black_plate_armor texture is invalid...opened up the tpac - no black plate armor text found in either items or full version.  Please advise.  Great mod btw, amazing models.

      None of the VS items have the id Black_plate_armor, don't you have another mod adding items where the problem could come from?

    there are only vanilla troops spawning in settlements, i have calradia at war and my little warband. does anyone know if those two conflict with VS?

    Hey! I am 4 game years into a sandbox playthrough and all of a sudden all my Lords and about half my troops are naked. Any Idea what happened or what can be done to fix it?

    Everything is normal when starting a new game. Just my 4 year save is affected.

      I did do some messing around with the mod order because I have also been getting crashes with rbm and bannerlord cheats. I did at one point remove bannerlord cheats, but I have added it back. I do not believe I ever saved the game with Cheats missing though.

      I was going to try to uninstall VS, save then reinstall so the armors were redistributed, but I ctd trying to load with VS missing.

    Great mod but the armor values are really low compared to swadian armoury. Two identical armors have wildly varying stats. You have 58/18/25 compared to like 35/10/10 to give an example.

      That's right, and it's deliberate, because Swadian Armoury's values are too high compared to those of vanilla armour, which completely unbalances the gameplay.
      And that's why I don't use any of ADSN's items, only his 3D models.

      Somewhat realistic though, given that its later more advanced armor but hey game balance over realism. 
      You did overdo it a little bit imo though. As the heavy plate armors in your mod are worse than some of the existing in-game armors. 
      But hey, its easy to edit for yourself. Thanks for the mod. :)

    The mod doesn't work. When starting the game, only standard Vlandian troops are duplicated. (Swadian armory mod installed)(v1.2.9)

      The mod works very well. You must have another mod that modifies vlandians and conflicts with VS.

      Of course mate that main mod it is on my List  and it is if not on the highest list on launcher it is much higher than Vladian replacer (main version)  or open source armors or Variety unlocked new armors. All of them is a complete overhaul to make epic army lookings ,of course I will also place Iron Vladia Troops I found out today.. But oh man, need  HELP here, please :)

      Hello mate! Well I reinstalled completely the game again they they work quiet nicely. 
      I had better faces mod installed and this was the mod that made the issues there also 'medieval new armors' completely 
      destroyed your masterpiece Mod. Now they work just nearly perfect.. also sometimes I see pink textures on some helmets 
      But general 'Swadian Armoury' from the moment is installed it leads to crashes / errors on my gameplay.. 
      Anyway , I just save often.. it is annoying in somehow but that's the way it is on this Game. 
      I hope one day talented guys give real fixes to Bannerlord. Even if I send crash report I see no fixes and with the one or the other way the game finally give crashes especially before set my army formation and general to the start or sometimes on the middle of the battle. Before I set Swadian Armoury I never had this error and crashes ..But this Mod literally enhanced at max the variety on Bannerlord and epic army pictures so I cannot ever think to remove Swadian and of course your EPIC mod as well from my List.
      Anyway Thank you very much for your info and your Help! 
      Keep up mate your work on that game is the reason why we the fans look for mods :)

    This AWESOME mod is everything i wanted to play  as  or against while being a vanilla aserai.

     However i have an issue, i want to use this and the realistic battle mod but the patch for using this great mod along rbm is outdated(because it leaves most units naked) but since in the rbm settings i only have it enable the ai it shouldn't affect much the balancing of the armors? Anyone that plays with this mod and rbm can share any info in how they interact?

      Which RBM compatibility patch are you using? Because mine is up to date so you shouldn't have that problem with troops in underwear.

      My dumbass assumed that there wouldn't be said patch in the same mod page so i used the search function and therefore downloaded an outdated patch made by someone else heh so thanks a lot, it works wonders, next time i will be sure to scroll just a little further on the files section lol

      Your concern sounds like a corrupted/missing file problem. Have you tried re-downloading the mod and reinstalling it?

      i think the problem is that the swadian armor mod has a new issue where there are missing and corrupted textures in the new 1.1.7

      In both cases, the problem concerns 3D models of Swadian Armoury. Is it Vlandian Steel or Swadian Armoury that you've downloaded again?

      As for the RBM patch you linked, it's a patch for SA, mine's a patch for VS, so if you're using SA items, I'd advise you to add it too. On the other hand, if you only use VS items, my patch will suffice.

      Your load order seems correct. After all, I don't know all the mods you have, so it's possible that some of them conflict with VS (even though they shouldn't normally cause the kind of problems you're experiencing).

      A purely personal choice, but one that allows me to resolve compatibility issues, I set VS as low as possible in my load order. The game loads modules from top to bottom, so the lower a module is, the more its content is loaded last. If two mods modify the same thing, the lower of the two will overwrite the modifications of the higher one.

      im sorry i cant find a fix for this, but i suspect its the swadian armory mod that is corrupted so i'll just turn this off util the author of the swadian armory fixes his problems. thanks for your patience and help!

      yup, i tested the game with some mods off and only the vlandian mods and the other armory mod ONLY and yet the problem persists. it is the sawdian armory mod that is broken.

      You must have a problem with corrupted files or a conflict with another mod, because SA works fine with me :/

    I unfortunately have the problem that not only do the units from this mod spawn in-game, but also the vanilla units. In other words, there are two different unit trees for the Vlandian faction. Has anyone experienced the same issue, and how was it resolved? I am playing with mods.

      The mod doesn't remove vanilla troops, it replaces recruits, army templates ect to use the new troops.
      So having the 2 troop trees is normal. However, Vlandians are no longer supposed to use vanilla troops. If this is the case on your game, there must be a conflict between Vlandian Steel and another of your mods.

      Thank you for the quick response. I have another question for clarification. Is it normal that, despite the mod, vanilla units are still offered by nobles for recruitment? Or should they be completely replaced by the new units? In my game, I mainly have the option to recruit vanilla units, and I'm wondering if this is intended. Is there a possible solution to ensure that only the new units are available?
      Additionally, I use multiple mods and will investigate further to identify potential conflicts. If I find more information or have feedback, I will gladly share it. Are there specific steps I can take to ensure that the new units from the mod completely replace vanilla units and are available for recruitment by nobles? Thank you for your assistance!

      If you're on a fresh game, you should only find mod troops (but vanilla troops will still appear in the encyclopedia). On the other hand, if you add the mod to a game you've already started, the new troops will gradually replace the vanilla ones. In other words, vanilla troops will remain until they die.

      Which version of the mod are you using? Troops or items?

      I am using the 'Vladian Steel Troops for V1.2.8' mod. I have listed the mod further down in the mod order, and it's working now. Apparently, there was a conflict with another mod. However, from my perspective, this shouldn't be the case since only mods unrelated to troop trees were installed there. PS: Awesome mod!
