One of the problems that I have in sieges is a lack of arrows for my bow. Even a quiver of stacked steppe arrows seems to last only minutes. I have lots of arrows in my pack train, but the game doesn’t let you use those in a siege.

This mod adds quivers that have two or three times as many arrows as the default quivers do. These quivers can be purchased in town markets. I borrowed the production code from my Extended Production mod to add these quivers to the game slowly over time. You should start seeing them in game in about a week’s time. It may take a month before you see them all. The Steppe arrows will only appear in Khuzait culture towns. The crossbow bolts will only appear in Vlandian and Empire culture towns. The rest will eventually show up everywhere.

There are eight new quivers added by the mod:
Double Arrows
Triple Arrows
Double Stacked Steppe Arrows
Triple Stacked Steppe Arrows
Double Stacked Bodkin Arrows
Triple Stacked Bodkin Arrows
Double Bolts
Triple Bolts

Each quiver has double or triple the number of arrows as the standard version of the quiver. The exceptions are the bolt quivers. The double bolt quiver has 50 bolts (instead of 40) and the triple bolt quiver has 75 (instead of 60). I could not see giving the crossbow users the short shrift on ammo counts.

These new items are priced automatically by the game. This means that they are somewhat expensive. The triple stacked bodkin arrows cost more than a noble bow. You can’t really say they are unbalanced as the price for carrying a big pile of arrows is rather extreme. Double and triple standard arrows do less damage so the game prices them considerably cheaper than the steppe and bodkin arrows.

Save Game Considerations
Any mod that adds custom units or custom items can not be removed with adversely affecting your saved game. This is true of all mods that add such things. Once these items are in your game the item definitions must be present in order for the game to know what the items are.

Compatibility With Other Mods
This mod does not use harmony or change any game code. It adds an extension module to the game that runs silently in the background. It is unlikely to conflict with other mods or future updates to the game.
