About this mod

Adds more gold to a town’s marketplace total once daily, until a limit of prosperity times ten is reached.

The amount of gold available in town markets has been significantly reduced over time. This has caused some issues with production of items as well as a town’s ability to buy what you have to sell. I rather liked it when towns had more gold available during the beginning of early access.

This mod adds gold to a town once a day if the current gold amount is less than prosperity times ten. The amount added varies randomly between 1000 and 1300 gold. The game does occasionally reduce the amount of gold in a town back down to prosperity times seven. This can be thought of as the normal ebb and flow of a town’s finances. If you drain a town’s gold be selling off your loot the town will recover much faster with this mod installed.

Update: I have uploaded a second version of the mod (More Gold For Towns Extreme) that will raise the town’s gold every day to a configurable max limit. There isn’t anything subtle about it, it just sets the gold to the maximum instantly once a day. You can set the multiplier in a range from 8 times prosperity to 20 times prosperity. I think that this will be enough gold for most people. The mod’s default value is 12 times prosperity. The configuration file is MoreGoldForTownsExtreme.txt and it is located in the same folder as the DLL file.

Save Game Safe!
You can add and remove this mod at any time. It does not save any data to the save file. It can be added to an existing game. If you remove the mod towns will stop getting extra gold.

Compatibility With Other Mods
This mod does not use harmony or change any game code. It adds an extension module to the game that runs silently in the background. It is unlikely to conflict with other mods or future updates to the game.
