About this mod

This mod reduces the prices of higher tier items in the game.

For some unknown reason the developers of this game decided that equipment items should be astronomically expensive. Combined with other coding decisions in the game, this led to items that are never offered for sale and items that will never drop as loot. Items of the highest tiers suffer from an exponential price inflation that makes their values completely out of range compared to the rest of the game.

This mod adjusts the value of every equipment item in the game to be something less radical. Items on the high end are reduced by almost 80%, while items on the low end are completely untouched. This was all done with a single value adjustment equation. The prices shown in the screenshots are with a trade skill of 75.

Trade items and horses do not have their values adjusted. This mod only applies to equipment, including saddles.

This mod makes my Armor Price Adjustment mod obsolete. Please do not use the two mods together as the values for armor will be incorrect. Nothing bad will happen mind you, just some weird prices.

Like most of my mods, I made this for myself. I hope that some of you will find it useful.

Save Game Safe!
You can add and remove this mod at any time. It does not save any data to the save file. It can be added to an existing game. If your remove the mod the item prices will return to their original values.

Compatibility With Other Mods
This mod overrides the CalculateValue method of the DefaultItemValueModel class. It will conflict with any mod that attempts to change the same code. You should only have one mod that changes the DefaultItemValueModel.
