The way characters are defined was changed in 1.5.6+. This mod needs an update to remain compatible w/ the game going forward.
The update for 1.5.6 is minor: Just edit spspecialcharacters.xml and add "{HERO.FIRSTNAME}" to every character name= string.
Example: <NPCCharacter id="spc_wanderer_empire_0" name="{=bvjFhiDr} the Scholar" ...etc.needs to be converted to: <NPCCharacter id="spc_wanderer_empire_0" name="{=bvjFhiDr}{HERO.FIRSTNAME} the Scholar" ...etc. Repeat the process for every entry in that xml file. It's pretty easy w/ notepad++ or any editor that allows regex.
And while that will fix it for 1.5.6, unfortunately as of 1.5.7 things change again and w/out an update we get a bit more weirdness w/ this mod. (So far, I _think_ I've found an issue where all characters [including notables] seem to be bald, and I _think_ the mod is re-introducing the 'Immortal Baby' bug to some troops (veteran militia and armed traders?).
I'll see if I can track it down further after I stabilize my other mods.
Did you find any solution? I started a new game this this mod and now I dónt want to lose all the progress. Every wanderer is bald and they have no first name. I can´t fix it by disabling the mod
