About this mod
I have analyzed the armor pieces of every culture and balanced them based on appearance, coverage, material, and current tier. Armor values and weights are now what you would expect. These changes lead to more diversity among available items for each culture. I have also made high tier items like lord helmets more common.

Notable changes
Helmets
Lower tier helmets have been nerfed as they shouldn't provide as much protection as they did. Most other helmets have received buffs. Helmet lining aswell as coverage of different parts of the head/neck have become a bigger factor in the armor value. Helmets combined with mail coifs and full face visors have the most protection followed by full helmet mail coif combinations. A lot of helmets have been shifted around and had their names and armor values standardized so that by reading their name you can actually expect it to represent the pieces quality and expected armor value.
Shoulders
Shoulders were largely nerfed as they provided too much additional body armor while most of them didn't actually cover the body at all. Shoulders that cover the neck from the front, back, or sides have received additional head armor.

Gloves
Gloves have seen some adjustments based on material type, size, and coverage. Some have seen nerfs and some buffs. Refer to spreadsheet for additional information.
Boots
Boots have seen a general weight increase as well as some general adjustments. Refer to spreadsheet for more info.
Compatibility: This mod does not introduce any new items or other custom content. It is compatible with any game save and can be removed at any time.
