CINEMA RESHADES

This mod provides two distinct cinematic reshade presets for you to choose. I have taken the original colour palette of Bannerlord and shifted it towards a more cinematic palette, enhancing and enriching the colours and contrast, creating a moodier and dramatic bannerlord.

Presets:

Cinema Reshade - A toned, dark and rich mood.

  Vibrant Cinema Reshade -A bright, vivid and impactful mood.

Install:
1. Download the latest reshade from: https://reshade.me/
2. Install reshade by directing it to the Bannerlord.exe file. Select the Direct3D 10/11/12 option when prompted.
3. Select all shader packages and download and install them all.
4. Drag the Cinema Preset into the Win64_Shipping_Client folder. Located here: Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II        Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client
5. Start up Bannerlord. Press 'Home' and go through the tutorial. Then select either the 'Cinema Preset' or 'Vibrant Cinema Preset' from the preset dropdown menu and it will load. Press Home to get rid of the reshade menu. and DONE! :)
6. (optional) Go to the settings tab and bind a hotkey to toggle to effect on and off. I personally use 'delete'

Why I mod:

Back in 2012 I threw myself into the immersive mystical world that is Skyrim. yet as I played one thing began to irk me. The textures!
To put it plainly they suck. I tried to ignore it but over time it got to me so much that I literally forced myself to learn the art of creating textures just so I could fully immersive myself in glorious and copious amounts of detail.
Eventually I realised maybe other people would enjoy my creations. And so here I am sharing my many hours of trials and errors with this amazing community and if even one other person can enjoy them as I have I count that as a success!

Why I'm on Patreon:

As some of you may know or have guessed, modding take many hours, many more cups of tea and yet more cups of coffee. I do it because I love it and because I get excited to I share my creations with others who love it too.
That being said, if you shout me a coffee or a tea this will help me to cover my expenses like purchasing texture resources, my electricity bill and my sanity.

(Disclaimer: I will of course continue to create mods whether I receive support through patreon or not.)

Thank you to this amazing community of mod creators and users I am humbled to be counted as one of you.

If you want the vignette and chromatic abberation effects I have in my screenshots follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to \Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs
2. Open engine_config.ini in notepad
3. Find and set these values:
    postfx_vignette = 1
    postfx_chromatic_aberration = 1
4. Save the file.

Performance impact:
I'm running at 1440p on high. My rig is a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RX 5700 XT.
I notice at worst a 1-4fps drop in sieges. Otherwise no drops.
If you're seeing performance impact make sure you've set 'performance mode' in the reshade settings.
Additionally you can disable the 'Gaussian blur' shader.

My calibration setting:
Cinema: +12 for the first slider and 0 for the second.
Vibrant: +50 for the first slider and 0 for the second.

Enjoy! :)
