This mod hasn't been updated since May of 2020, so unless you're running the version of Bannerlord that this was made for way back then I'm surprised your game even booted up. Sucks to because I had it at one point and loved this mod. Perfect for my bandit/Viking raider characters.
I just got told about This Mod. Haven't tested it yet myself, and it's not exactly the same, but definitely looks interesting for those of us who want to role play bandit/criminal type characters.
Running ATC along with Calradia girls and their armory required mods, it seems that there's a conflict somewhere and the game will crash when you try to access the loot menu after a battle only with the roving bandits.
Makes game crash whenever you enter a city, which, unlike the recruitment option which probably is the cause of this, entering cities is an integral and necessary part of the game
Hail! Apparently, with the latest Scum and Villany update, this mod got broken. Tried with 3 different new saves, apparently SnV latest update, just makes the recruiting option completly break =\
Edit: It seems to only crash when trying to buy at Cities. Gonne into a Mountain Men hidout and didn't crash.
Is it possible to make buildable hideout? Something like outpost in viking conquest for warband. I would really like to see option after destroing hideouts to make in this place your own settlement. This can be a big progress to stay independent without joining kingdom. You could rebuilding this settlement and use prisoners as settlers and workers for your income. Unfortunately I don't have skills to making mods so all I can do is share the opinion.
Have you tested it, to see if its compatible or not? I'd like to know whether or not that's the case. If it turns out its incompatible that I'll take a look into it.
Yeah I tried going to one of the hideouts the mod adds and as soon as I recruit them and close the window 2 seconds later it crashes saying a certain value can't be less than 0 or something of the sort.
As far as the recruitment from gang leaders in cities go, I think if it picked from the pool of troops that have their culture set to "looters" it would make the S&V troops available there out of the box, as well as any custom troops that replace/add to looters troop trees.
Good news, I successfully added compatibility with Scum and Villainy. Turns out it wasn't an issue with Scum and Villainy itself, but with the Custom Spawns API that it uses. This fix means that Banditry should be compatible with all mods that use that API now :)

Edit: ok so yeah it also crashes when recruiting from the city so until this mod is fixed i would avoid it like the plague.
